Bit late starting this thread but there's not slot of action this early.Pretty much same plan as last season 15 plants all Bodhi all Snow Lotus crosses,Strawberry Lotus,Dream Lotus,White Lotus,Space Cake,Dragons Fruit,Starflight Guava,Triple Godess and Uplift. Only major changes are I'm going to run some non organic fertilizer inputs (still no chemical pesticides or fungicides) and got a few 45 gallon pots to fill up.
Re did the watering system hoping to avoid the issues from last year and got some new drip manifolds to experiment with.

so far the sunshine is super good for spring - if the rain holds off at the end it'll be a cracker
I've had them inside while we had those couple of weeks of cloud and rain so they're a little bit behind last year's.
Last year it was the 10th of March we copped a belting from the weather year before it was the 2nd or 3rd of March so fingers crossed it's not 3 in a row.
I'm stepping up my cage game this year though, was a bit lazy last year and only had half fully caged and didn't lose a branch of any of them so have to get them all done no matter what this year

Not the best start to the season, have had a bad run with males and am down to my last 15 plants.IMG_20181108_165548476.jpg
Had 5 nice ones go male since this pic was taken

Most of the pots are filled and in place and the remaining plants will go in over the next week or 2.

Went with a slightly different soil mix.The base is the same soil I've used for the previous 2 years, with fresh compost and it's been re-ammended with 30 Kg of Soft Rock Phosphate,5 Kg Guano,,40 Kg Gypsum,10 Kg Kelp meal,30 Kg of Natra Min + P, 5 Kg of Bukashi grain,20Kg Zeolite and 20Kg each of horse and cos manure. It's also been inoculated with Nutrisoil LS and NTS BAM.

Irrigation is roughed in only connections left to do,going to be a mix of pressure compensating dripper rings and dripper manifolds this year.
