Hi Guys!

I have recently harvested my closet micro grow of Lemon skunk auto. decided to upgrade quite a bit from the closet and CFL's. I got a 1m - 1m - 2m grow tent, carbon filter, fan 600w hps duel spectrum light. I just went out and picked this up at my local shop,

Decided to give hydro a go along with my soil grows.

Has anyone tried one of these? if so, how did you get on with it??

Never did a tent but it should be way more effecient then what u had the 600hps is going to give u some nice budz,if you have ne questions on the hydro part of it let me know i can help u with that, i do know u need a good ph tester some good nutes and good airflow, u will need ph up or down i mostly used down, need to top off with fresh water everyday, what kind of hydro setup u going with i like ebb and flow real simple, just ask if u need help

well this is my first time with hydro, so not up to speed with the lingo lol. The one i have is a bubbler, the air pump is under the water level. I got Hydroponics Canna Aqua veg A&B and flores A&B (also got the canna coco A&B veg & Flowering for my soil grows). got PH testing kit on the way, as well as PH up and down. i dont have the money for electronic PH or PPM meter atm sadly, so will have to make do with the liquid tester for now.

one thing i wasnt sure about is rock wool, the guy at the hydro shop gave me a load free, how do i use them? just soak it in water then place my seed in it, leave it in a dark warm place like usual?

Ok, so I left this whilst I got set up.

Got a bag seed (all I had at the time, don’t judge me) into Rockwool soaked in pH'd water and it popped about 4 days later.

I left this little girl for a few days to get some roots and once they started getting big, I moved her into the DWC OxyPot. I left this for a week and a half with pH'd water only until the roots were coming out the bottom of the basket, dropped the water down and then once more were showing through, changed to half strength canna aqua vega.

3 days and there is a substantial acceleration in growth. really surprised really looking forward to getting this girl into flower in a few weeks XD.

Currently in the cupboard as the bloody poles were wrong from the guy I got the grow tent from and he is being a real dick about getting the correct one sent. Should have been in the tent from day 1, but sadly not. Should be getting the pole this Monday or Tuesday and then I’ll get more pics up .

Currently under a CFL only, but got a 600 duel spectrum hps for when the tent is put up. Think she will love it XD.
