Oxypot

how much maintenance and care do they require.
They are simple to construct with supplies that you can buy at your local Home Depot or Lowes.

As far as care goes, get the pH level right, and you pretty much just wait. If your plants seem to have some sort of deficiency, adjust your nutrient levels to suit.

There are many threads in the DIY section on how to build your own aeroponics system.

get a tote, six net pots and a dual ouput fish tank pump. Cut holes, insert net pots, and put the fishtank pump line in, you got a "oxypot"

HO HO HO........ it gets better.

and what sort of maintenance does this require, is it a daily ph and ec check, and a weekly tank water/nutrient change.

but.... i was led to believe that oxypots are aeroponic pots !!

i want to do aeroponics or therabouts.

well six plants, near the end of veg will swallow up about 50 liters of water each week. I don't check any PH or EC at all and I get great results. It depends on your location. You should always check your PH and EC before you give them the water if you can though for optimal results. It doesn't look like the oxypot is aero from the picture, if it is I'm sorry.

pH doesn't usually change much, but I would manually adjust it from starting about 1200ppm to around 1500-1550ppm near the end of the flowering stage.

wanna use a few of these, anyone know if i could use without changin res everyweek, ie just top up with a nutrient mix each day, im restricted for space and would reallyry struggle changing and cleanin res each week( especially with plants in, once the buckets are in room they are in and cant be moved at least until iv vegged the plants)
in theory i could clean them fully every 4 weeks, is this possible? thanks
