Overwatered plant???

Hello guys first time grower here! Plant was growing great right until about 3 days ago when I noticed some of the leaves started drooping and it really wasn't growin as much as the first week ... plant is 12 days old I have it under some cfls and I'm using fox farm ocean forest. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah what i do is wait till i can feel an inch or two into the soil and find it totally dry. At that time the roots have plenty of oxygen and if done everyday youll catch them when theres still moisture in the center so you dont underwater. Then youll know about when to check and you can adjust how often you water as the grow cycle continues. The more a plant has filled out its pot the more you need to water. This is why its better to start in small pots and move up along the way to prevent overwatering. Start in too large a pot and it wont dry out often enough even if you do water at the right times

I killed a couple of my plants this way, starting them in 5 gallons when i first got my grow tent

I actually just transplanted her five days ago from miracle gro seed starting pitting mix , guess I forgot to mention that lol the first 2 days after I transplanted her she was doing great but on the third day some of the leaves started dropping.. at first I though it might of been because the leaves were too heavy but hey what do I know lol

Got a fan on it? Good air circulation? I wouldve put more perlite in that soil from the looks of it but its got some. Doesn't look too bad

What kind of soil did you transplant into? Ive used a mix involving miracle grow once and it went well but from what i see its not the best type of soil to choose. Heres a link to a recent thread on the subject of good soils for cannabis

I transplanted into fox farm ocean forest but I was thinking replanting again into a slightly bigger pot that way I could add a bit more of perlite in the soil. Is that a good idea? I actually watered her yesterday

Thats what i usually do. Ill usually take one part perlite and add 4 parts foxfarm ocean forest

Good soil but you can read my opinion on it in that thread, and the ways ive used it

But i wouldnt recommend a repot untill it fills its pot

Since you repotted recently and your in veg id say its more safe to carefully plop her outta that pot over a container and carefully get off all the loose soil before setting aside the plant, ammending, and pot it back in with the same soil with more perlite. Depends on how big those roots are when you pull it out.. Doesnt look like its filled it to me

This is all assuming its not an autoflower. Besides the perlite part. That goes for both. Autos like to start in their final containers because they dont do well with stress. Any stress in their life cycle is lower yield while photos can have time to "heal", get over shock, and grow out before being set into flower

Ok that's great! I will try that and hopefully they get better! The plant itself looks great it's just those 2 leaves that have the droopy tips

FWIW I put about 35 to 40 percent perlite in my mix for the youngins. I like it to dry out that little bit quicker and so do they.
As far as that plant goes, I wouldn't even worry. Just let her go, she doesn't look bad!

Hey man thanks for that last info you gave me ! But now I have another question I hope you can help me out ... so I just noticed that my plant is mostly growing from the bottom and stopped growing from the top .. you can actually see in the main stem thicker at the bottom than on top.. any ideas on what's causing this??
