i have 4 26w daylight's and everycouple of days ill come home to one or two of them off. They are on Y adapters and whenever one is off, the other is on working fine, so i know its not wiring or the fixture itself. Upon further investigation (taking the light out of the socket), i noticed that the spiral part (the glass) was loose, and rocked back and forth. I let em cool down an screwed em back in an they worked fine.

I guess im jus lettin everyone know, this has happened, let em cool down, theyll be fine.

if that piece is lose its not because the light was hot......its because the bulb is broken man. none of that is supposed to be lose and/or wiggly....replace it or chance losing the place to fire....

they shouldent be going out unless that is some design of the bulbs or the splitters...... but the bulbs arent supposed to move.

but what would cause the glass part of the light to be loose and wobble. When it cools down the class part firms back up, its fuckin wierd. Got em at home depot, i think Invision or something like that. I tried to find like a GE brand, one i knew, but that was all they had
