*i just discovered that my baby is going through overfertilization. is she a goner or can i still save her? the only side effects i see are the typical elongated leaves and a few leaves falling off. she is still green and growing stigmas though. do i just let her go through the motions and lay off the fert? sigh.:?

Actually the damage done to your plants is often irreversible. If the tips are brown they will stay brown. once you correct the problem the yellowing might go back to green or it might turn brown like the rest. Make sure that you flush with at least three times the amount of water as the size of your pot. Also the problem could come back once that water dries up if there is still some fertilizer left in the soil. flush as many times as needed just make sure that your over-fertilization isn't an under-fertilization or you'll be in trouble.

the yellowed leaves fell off. no browning though, just the elongated middle leaves. it has been rainy the past few days with the addition of me flushing them things are looking up. sigh...trial and error. thank you.
