yea i know thats why im veging big bud and crystal right now and they will be in flower when the haze comes out so another 7 weeks and in they go lol, was they all popcorn buds or bigger ? do you have pics ? so i can keep my hopes up

damn thanks for that. i have 3 sativas and i was starting to get scared wondering why they weren't showing buds. but now i know. as you can tell i'm a rookie. but what is should i know about sativas. i'm giving it black strap mallasses to help the budding prosses. that good right now right?

yea they take a long time they grow long then fill out then grow long then fill out, but the bigger it gets is around the 10 week mark so its going to take a while,but at 10wks you can chop her wont be as potent but good enough yes molasses is a big help bro so keep up with it and you should be good to grow lol

i say about 3 more weeks and then imgoing to cut her down because shes been growing for about almost 4 months b4 i flowered her in june and now its august so thats like 5 moths total going on 6 lol

Hey everyone , i got a update on crystal shes just over 1 week only 1 week and 2 days old actually, and bad news i pulled the plug on big bud its was over 6 inches tall and couldnt support its weight and fell over and curved up like lst , but it wasnt growing any leaves besides the 1st 2 that come out ( oval and single blade) so now im germinating unknown indica i think 1 seed might have twins because how huge it is . but check her out shes like 2-3 inches tall and looking nice as hell, the stuff you see that looks yellow or white is nute residue its not mold or anything lol

hey nelly thanks for posting in my thread. i read lots of responses and i noticed many people reply withour reading much.

anyway one thing i have read about with flowering time is that you dont start counting the day you turn to 12/12 cause a plant may not be mature yet and still stays veg state till they are mature even in 12/12 but they will start flowering once they are ready to flower being mature enough.

basically from seed this is said so that means it probably was in veg state even in 12/12 cause it wasnt ready and just started flowerinf 3 weeks ago and not 6 weeks ago. so thats when you start counting.

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF MY UNDERSTANDING WAS WRONG CAUSE IT CAN ALSO HELP MANY PEOPLE

also i think if they were clones from mothers that are a few months old. they probably would flower sooner cause its already at a mature age when you put into flower.

yours are in flowering stage and someone mentioned a mh light and getting rid of nutes. I really dont agree on this even though im a noob. i would guess no nutes is better if you have a problem but that wont solve the problem.

i'd say change nutes would be better after a day or 2 of no nutes so it can flush out your plant a little if it needed. then start with light nutes and use less than u did b4 IF your problem was a nute problem. but i dont think its a nute problem from all that im reading.

but most likely you probably dont have a problem and it was just your plant maturing.

i dont use a mh bulb bro i use a 430w super agro hps with 30% blue spectrum, and my plant is 6 weeks in and you do count from when you switch to 12/12 and my strain is a 16 week flower so your telling me that i have to let my plant grow longer which isnt a factor because its been growing since march, # 2 i started 12/12 in late june so thats 3 months of veg and now 53 days of 12/12 and the nutes im using is 9-68-54 and its doing fine . that was just my topic for this thread and i see you might of not actually read this whole thread . you might want to check on that

iknow u using a conversion bulb i didnt say u were using mh.. im saying i dont agree on the person saying to use a mh light.

i dont know how long you have vegged for but from what i have read all i know is that if you start them 12/12 lets say 4 weeks from seed then they arent mature yet. and they will still veg under 12/12 till they are mature and will start flowering. that is what i meant. I maybe wrong but thats what i have been hearing from man threads that i read

no if you try and veg under 12/12 it doesnt build enough veg hormones so it assumes ok i grew this far so time to change hormones, but if you veg for a month is what people typically do and then 12/12 it its going to assume winter is near and need to build some type of family tree and thats why it sexes itself.it dificult to say ,but true and 12/12 from seeds some strains are able to be put in that such as my haze plant and its recomended actually if growing indoors because it reaches 20 feet in height,and i toped her at 20 inchs and shes almost 6 feet tall now so that more then tripple , but yea i understand what your saying about the mh light,you should of quoted him so that there isnt and confusion going on , oh and 12/12 forced the plant to mature. just like i found this plant outside my house and it barely gets light so its real skinny and steady growing 3 bladed leafs, and its alternating so its mature and looks like shit its only about 6 inches tall no secondary nodes and its mature but not sexing yet lol

one thing though. i read many times in this forum with people saying that you dont start counting when you flip its time cycle. you start counting when you first see them change over to flowering. which id figure is when the little hairs start coming out. i see. I gotta read up on it more now. Figure out whats the right way. I just remember hearing it when someone was talking about strains and thier advertised flowering time. someone said it starts when the plants start to show flowering, and not when the light changes to 12/12.. But 12/12 is how you get them to start the flowering stage
