yes the GC will burn pistils....and its only effective for 14 -18 hours..it does its job when first sprayed..thats out doors..not indoors..once a night dew hits the leaves the GC ph is altered...i talked to the R&D guy at Green cure....he said as long as dew does not settle on leaves at night GC is effective....or rain...he also said if rot is found to cut out whats there and spray the bud area...the GC will destroy the spores and any mold you may have missed...but its not a cure all for rot...

and yes and bug shit on leaves from caters or other bugs will be a prime target for rot...

I just use peroxide when I trim off mold..been very effective..it oxidizises the spores...

it is what it is...no real cure for rot...as far for any thing edible or smokable...

best preventive I think is using a product like pro tek twice a week....both watered in and sprayed...it helps tuffen the leaf tissue so mold cant penetrate the leaf surface...again not 100% effective ..silica is best taken in by plant by foliar spray...watering it in helps stalk and branches...

I've had a few plants get some mold because the buds are so tight and dense. I've been spraying neem solution with a little baking soda and a milk/water/baking soda solution everycouple of days. Seems to be controlling it for now.. We've had crap weather this season as far as rain and humidity. Good luck in these final few weeks everyone!

Man this rain today has me scared! Im spraying neem all over the plants once a week as of now, really wetting everything. Wondering when its best to apply, before rain, after at some point, or both? A few years ago i got hit hard with PM and had bad bud rot:( seems like any mold prevention i search theres no solid info just suggestions that seem indecisive. By the way i have super skunk and theres some pretty good flowers on them and theyre about 4ft tall. I want to hear exactly what, when, and amounts you guys are using to prevent mold

With the neem oil, I've been mixing it 2 Oz per gallon with a teaspoon of soap and a tablespoon and a half of baking soda. I've been treating the day before rain is expected and right after it finishes raining. We've been having 2 to 3 days of sunshine followed by a day or 2 of rain. I'm trying to play it safe and switching it up with different antifungal treatments. Seems to be working pretty good at this point.

Yes.. i completely drench them. Especially around the areas where I found and cut away the rotten spots.

wvblazin....with the neem do you get a taste on your cured buds from it..last year a friend used neem for 2 weeks before harvest..and his flowers tasted bad....it was the pure neem oil cut with dr bronners soap to emulsify it in the water...his bud looked and smelled great..but had a bad taste...especialy in a vaporizer...

This garden is the only set that has had mould on them. Theyre all in new locations.. i screwed up with this one because i didnt expect them to get so big in their location and they kind of grew together a little.

I just started using the neem this year but from what I've sampled it hasn't affected it. But then again, we've had a good bit of heavy rains so that has probably helped to rinse the buds. I also normally rinse my buds after harvest.. being outdoor and all.

What strain? Ive been growing a few seasons and have grown master kush, swiss cheese, and ice so far and all have flowered mid aug in the mass region of NE

I'm a little further south.. might be why mine are flowering earlier. I am a week ahead of last season though.
My strawberry blue and fruitylicious.. even the bagseed plants starting flowering around the same time.
in the pics of that garden I've got fruitylicious and Hawaiian skunk haze. The hsh just started flowering like 2 weeks ago.

I had this one random seed amongst my super skunk and while and the SS are flowering great the oddball isnt sexing. I see what appears to be a few pistols but it really isnt showing much. Strange
