Factors for bud density seem to be: genetics, light intensity, lower temps in flowering, proper nutes, don't pull early (let them finish), as far as I can tell.
As far as nutes go what all an how much of them should I be using to get them rock hard

whats that white powdery rez i see on soe of my leafs anyone know????
It's called PM or powdery mildew, it's caused by high humidity with cool temps at night. There are a couple of products out there that will treat this. I would recommend ASAP because even though the plants O.K. now, it won't take but a couple of days to spread. This would be my guess without seeing pics. I seen somebody mention a product on this thread called Actinovate that I've researched and sounds very good. There's also another called green cure developed in the NE for this exact reason by a cornell prof. There are some home remedies like milk and baking soda but I've never really tried either. Good luck!

I used milk on my Powdery Mildew last week and it definitely worked!

I used fat free milk at a ratio of 1 part milk to 9 parts water. I started from the bottom of my plants all the way up. I saturated the plants in this solution because I knew it was gonna rain shortly thereafter and that it'd wash off any residue.

The mildew is still there, but much less so and hasn't spread at all this week.

My zucchini squash also appreciated a milk spray down and their looking healthier as well...

Good luck!

Thanks man. Luckily mine are close and I'm out there checking on em every morning. It's been a great year in my area. No big issues at all this year. The plants are soaking wet every morning from the dew, but they've been drying out pretty fast so far.

I'd love to get out to the Freedom Fest and may just do that. If so, I will give you a shout for sure. :leaf: Peace !
