!!Outdoor .vs. Indoor!!

I have never grown outdoors before just indoors. but from buying outdoor bud from the black market in canada. it is not very good. when my city gets a dry spot in august-early sept thats all that comes around. I have never seen a good outdoor crop so I am a bit biased i guess. But this bud i get that is outdoors is always a bad smell, purple popcorn nugs that have little to no crystal on the outside. Sure you can't beat the sun and outdoor yield will most always be larger, but what I like about indoor is the control you have over everything!! Since indoor growers have this exact control if used properly I think that an indoor crop would reach its genetic potential over an outdoor crop. I do hope to do an outdoor crop next year Im just starting to find a good location and what not.(that is the hardest part it seems lol) But like I said im very biased because of this one strain that always creeps around this time of year and it really is schwaggy!!!!! soo very harsh and not tasty.

hello,
This is a first time writer.
1st time outdoor grower.
My plants from what I ve read and
what im seeing Seem to be doing well.
They are starting to flower.( I Think)
I started feeding a super bloom about two weeks into a-symetrical growth.
Now the 1st of Aug these plants have enjoyed 3 feeding of the bloom food.
From what Ive read the start of heavy flowering is slower and then picks up during 12/12. BTW 12/12 natural light starts on 9/25. So DOes Anyone have an idea.(How large will these ladies be guestimate ?) (Will flowering continue to be slow for the month or should I see anyfaster growth befor the 12/12 period). I have to say I think they are doing OK However i have NO reference other than what ive read and friends like you all. : ) Thank You in advance.
PEACE JAH LOVE RASTA

If you keep up with my grow, i posted a link a few posts ago on this thread, you can compare yours to mine, that might help a little. mine are starting to flower but i mean JUST BARELY, they are flowering very slowly, but as the days continue to get shorter im hoping that when they do go they go fast...which im sure they will....outdoor takes longer and requires more patience but its well worth the wait... i'll be posting new pics in a few days including pics of this "wild weed" that grows in my area...it has already packed on some bulky buds....but its adapted to these growing conditions over the years so its no wonder they are way ahead of my plants...but the plan is to get a stable f1 hybrid from these wild plants and see what happens over the next few crops...thats my long term goal anyway.

indoors. if we had no laws and could grow in big warehouses full of all the proper equipment, and load it up with tall hps lights like at 12,000 lumens per sq. foot. proper co2, levels, humidity, hours of light, nutes, amount of air supplied to roots {hydro} all the optimal means of growth all the time. that would smash outside conditions.

also harvest would be much more fqequent

yes true, but even if there were no laws, very few people would have the money for such an extreme setup...
