Outdoor question

I am going to be growing outdoors for the first time and am wondering about the soil. Currently I am planning on tilling and a product called Nutri-Rich 4-3-3 pellets into the soil and hopefully that is all I will need to add. Its an organic pelletized fert. I am growing some of Dr. Greenthumbs Iranian autoflower, which have a 90 day complete cycle. My question is will this work?

yeah that's what I am thinking. I am just trying to cut down how much I have to pack to the location.

Would it be best to make some soil say 50% sunshine mix/50% soil with some high N guano mixed in and then just feed with some bloom guano once I start seeing flowers?

If not, what would you suggest as a good outdoor soil mix? (besides your super soil)

Thanks Sub!

sounds pretty good! Just make sure when it rains it doesnt flood out your plants! Put chicken wire around them, animals will tear them apart!!!

yeah it seems like a decent product and a great price too! like $13 for 40 lbs. However, I think I am going to keep it simple. I think I will just get some miracle grow organic soil and perlite and then mix it with the soil from the location. I just ordered 2 set's of B.M.O's product line for $50 total so that should last me. Currently I'm not planning on amending the soil. It is just going to be miracle grow organic soil, perlite, and topsoil. If I should amend any let me know, otherwise I'm going with the B.M.O. line.

For outdoor you prepare the bed the year before and during the winter.
If your going to start this late on prep I would just carry blood meal bone meal guano and lime and work it in down low and fill top with potting soil.

I'm thinking about using soybean meal instead of blood meal...there are lots of critters in my neck of the woods....DO you recommend soybean meal?

I'm am not sure if this outdoor grow is going to happen now. It was sort of a spur of the moment thing as I had to cut my current grow and move b/c of a natural disaster, PLUS i have never grown outside before. we will see...still got a week or so to figure it out. there is always next year...I would like to try the agent orange outside, there are some good spots around here with readily available water. I just need to plan more...might just follow Sub's advice and build some raised boxes this fall and mix my soil for the spring...

On that note, if I create my mix this fall, should I cover it over the winter? If i cover it will it hurt? There is sometimes flooding in the spring where I would like to grow, and I don't want the soil to wash away.
