Hey,

When should I be planning to put my seedlings out in wild? The last frost here is apparently May 9th. But when is a good time to plant?

Peace.

Plant once you know for sure the cold season is gone. 1 cold day can ruin your whole crop. There are no certain dates because every year is different, and all different areas hs different weather.

you got it NoDrugs. One day can be crucial. May 9th is pretty late for a frost, but I come from the midwest. We plant around March 15th-April 1st. I'd say one solid week after the last frost, with a wary eye on the weather. Make sure the garden is ready to go, you don't want to miss the earliest possible time. My babies are getting started from around February the 15th, ish. Keep them inside until the weather is nice and temperate.

Like these cats said... No later than Mother's Day.

Consider, if you plant too early and the forecast calls for frost, in an emergency you could cover the plants with jars or garbage cans.

"April Showers" would be a nice kick start.

Yeah, I have seen that before, but thanks.

I hope to have some foot high clones ready for the start of the season.

Thanks for the info.

Hey there, I am planning an outdoor grow right now, got my mothers vegging out under a 1000 watt mh. They are getting really bushy. I will take clones from these and that is what I will put outside. I am in Canada so I don't plant anything until after the 24th of May long weekend here or closer to June. There has been frost ofter that date but is rare. I wait until they are good and strong too, maybe 4 to 6 nodes high. Good luck.:peace:
