Outdoor Newbie, Question about Force Flowering

Years of indoor grow in cities, but bought a bunch of land in rural Montana.
Average first frost is Sept 21st. I'm growing Strawberry Diesel, God Bud, #5 NL, and Cheese. Would like Sativas to finish flowering by mid-October at the very latest.

I have a large shed that I could open and close for a week to mimic 12/12. My question is about re-vegging after forced flowering. If I were to 12/12 in the shed for a week, and then put out my plants to their flowering site, would they re-veg? Currently, we have 15h42m of daylight and this spot gets full sun. OR, is it next to impossible for the plant to re-veg after it's been induced?

You probably need to keep them in 12/12 for a few weeks, by late Julyish they will stay in flower.

Read up on light dep. A small carport type greenhouse with a tarp pulled over it each early morning or late afternoon to make it 12/12. Lots of work, as you need to do it the same time every day.

Thanks for the info. I've scored the website for info and can't seem to find any information on whether a plant will begin to re-veg after 2 weeks of doing a 12/12 schedule. I am currently bringing my plants in and out a shed (out at 10am and in at 10pm). However, I plan to transfer these to a flowering location permanently for the rest of the flower. My concern is they will re-veg after I move them to their permanent location because the light schedule will be 15/9. Next year I plan to build a large GH but no time for it this year. Have to do this forced flowering because frost can come at early as Sept 15th where I live.

I have never done light dep myself, but I think you have to stick with it until natural light hours are in the "flower" window. Is it still light at 10PM? You need as much sun as you can get, and still keep them in the flowering window. That is up to 13 hours for most strains

There are some good early strain out there. Among the best are getaway mountain genetics. Many others as well. Or you could cross your strains with an auto male and make your own.

And plants will take a little bit of frost. I did a Spring crop, and had to deal with frost a couple different times. It did hurt me some, but most came through it unscathed, except a little purpler.

Yes, they would re-veg and quite possibly herm (thats a big maybe though) but it will re-veg. Unless you are trying to sex the plant, i would keep doing what you're doing. A non auto flower needs at least 12/12 light to stay in flower. This is an example of a budding plant that was re-vegged off google

Thanks! I just want to double check to make sure that you understand I will be tricking them into flowering over the next 3 weeks and then leaving them outdoors permanently until September's harvest. I know that after harvest you can try to re-veg and they may turn herm, but I haven't found any information about tricking them into flowering and then putting them back onto a schedule that is ~14/10 (outdoor).

Nice, I'll check out those genetics. It is still light out at 10PM. Sunset is currently at 9:45pm and civil twilight is at 10:10pm. Over the next 3 weeks I'll slowly move the time to 9:30am-9:30pm to account for the changing times.
