Hi guys, hope yas are all gud, i am part way through my 1 st grow,as its my first i thought id go with the auto flowering lr2,i bought 10 fem seeds and am left with 4 fems in the dirt right now and there on day 30, the other 6 all sprouted but due to one reason or another they have passed away, was maybe to many anway for my 1st time. What i was hoping for was a little advice on the flowereing side of things, they have all got pistils on,is this the time to add a flower booster?,all they have had upto now is sum chempak 3 and sum calcium and they are in a big hole filled with 2 big bags of miracle grow moisture control and perlite.Looking at them they look very healthy but there has to be more to it than waiting for them to bud right?ill add sum pics for you to see,any advice wud be truly appreciated.

i seen the question you asked me in the other lowryder2 thread hope this helps a little,
yeah robbie no problem, am not much good when it comes to outdoor growing as i dont get the weather for it but after reading your post i see you are using miracle grow this is a no no as it has strong ferts and can burn your plants causing yellowing like youve said. i would advise using compost without any plant foods already added, chances are if its still alive and getting bigger it will be ok as it would affect the plant more when its young and it will be more able to handle it during flowering, and after looking at the pics i wouldent bother with any bloom nutes just yet maybe in a week or so its hard for me to judge outdoors.good luck and happy growing

thanks for replying mate, sorry forgot to mention, the 4 outside i used to big bags of miracle gro compost, but before they went in the dirt on there 3rd week they were in a westland compost,i still think it had plant food in it though.and the one indoors has always been in the westland compost with perlite, and this is the only one tht seems to be dying off from the bottom leaves up.Why wouldnt u bother with bllom nutes yet,im on day 30 with im hoping 5/6 weeks left, they have all showed quite a few pistils.cheers bro

the pics above i dident see any pistils they look what mine would after 2 weeks under a cfl but i am not used looking at outdoor plants, it could be that theres too little light and they are just gonna have a few buds without being bushy but they look alot different outdoors than in thats for sure mine was like a bush after 3-4 weeks indoors

Hey buddy, you’ve got some issues going on here. Those plants are no where near flowering time. They look like they need another 2 months of vegging truthfully. I grow indoor plants and they are that size after a couple of weeks. I know that is lowrider so it doesnt get that tall, but they should still be bushier and thicker than those. Maybe you need to get more light on them. You need to move them from where they are currently anyway, so you should move them to a spot with more light. The reason I am saying you need to move them is that they are too close together and you could easily have a root problem with that. So in a nutshell, move them to a sunnier location with distance between them, don’t think about flowering too much for now bc they could use more veg time, and you should be fine.

Pssst. . . those are autoflowers.

Those plants look perfectly healthy to me. But if they are in a mix of miracle grow, and they've had "chempack 3" (what is that?) you may get by fine without any nutes through harvest. The MG will continue to release nutes for at least 3 months.

they seem to be stretching a lot like they are not getting enough light, BTW did you start these indoors and move them out or did you just start them outdoors? with so little bud sites
she is really gonna need more direct light, and as someone said they are abit close together although i really dont think that is the issue right now

hi,yeh i starte dthem indoors for 3 weeks under just a 80 w cfl, they pretty much stretched there arse off wen i had them indoors and i actually burried quite a bit of them stem in the dirt. The place they are at honestly gets alot of sunlight but i am in the north east of england so weather is a bit iffy. They have only been outside a week and 3 days so hopefully they will get bushier.thanks kangdark.

Hi bud, i had them inside for three weeks from seed and i did only have a 1 cfl for 5 of them so it was probly due to lack of light getting to the bottom why they havnt got bushy yet,I figured i didnt need more lights cos i keep them in the greenhouse during the day and they were getting between 7 and 10 hours direct sunlight in that.Aand i cant relly move them there in the dirt not in pots in the dirt.Where they are now get sun all day exept for a 3 hour window wen a big tree blocks it from getting to them.Direct sunlight is not an issue here they have transformed to wen they were inside they look very healthy,im a patient guy and this is my first ever grow so upto now i think im doing quite well. Thanks for the reply cheer

ye the camera i used did not pick them up but be assured there are quite a few pistils on them all.i will get a pic in a 4 days and see how they have done.forgot to say the say the cfl was only a 20w but equivalent to 80w,i realise now that 5 plants for this much light may have slowed them down ,i just tought the sunlight out in the greenhouse through the day would give them tht bost they need.cheerz pal
