Outdoor/Indoor Trailer Grow Room setup?

I have a trailer that belonged to my grandpa. This is a small trailer with 2 rooms that was used on construction site as an onsite office many years ago. The front of the trailer is a kitchen, but all the cabinets were removed and that part was used for an office. The back of the trailer is where they would store their tools.

There is no electricity hooked up to this trailer as it's was used to store my garden/tools, fertilize and other stuff. I have a workshop 10 foot from it, and i have electricity ran to it from the house underground. I can easily run electricity underground from my shop, under the trailer up through the floor.

I'm wanting to put my much larger grow tent in the back part of that trailer. What i'm worrying about, it nearly 50 yards away (rough guesstimate) from the house, plus there is constant air traffic (small planes & helicopters) fly over on a daily/nightly basis.

Would the larger 300 watt + led grow light put off a heat signature? I don't think it will, but if it will, what would you use to protect against flir? Because i'm worried after 30+ years with this tiny trailer not having electricity, all of sudden it has electricity and having a hot spot would set off alarms with the vultures above. The trailer is basically sitting in a middle of a blackberry patch, under a tree, with just enough walking space cut through the blackberry thorns to the front door so i can get tools out and put them back up.

I always keep the door padlocked from the outside anyways, but if someone really wants in it, they could take cut the lock. What type of lock would you think that would make it harder to be tampered with?

The next thing i'm worried about, is how far this trailer is.. Sure if i look out my window, i can see someone messing around, but at night i cant see out that far. And if someone was really quite not making a bunch of noise, i would never know someone was there. So what i'm thinking of doing is putting a couple of solar floods lights above the door pointing down at an angle. i really need one there anyhow because sometimes in the middle of the night when i'm tinkering with a project, i have to walk out there with a flash light to get a specific tool, and making that 2 1/2 foot step up and back down is a little tricky when holding the end of the flashlight in my mouth.

If someone happens to make it past the solar flood lights, i need another security feature. What i'm thinking about doing is running a wire from here underground to a switch on the inside of the trailer door. On this end, at my workstation in my home where i spend 90% of my time when i'm inside, will be a red bulb, and when that door on the trailer opens it will turn on the red bulb mounted on my wall above my pc monitor.

There is 5 windows on this trailer, but they are tinted (not by much), you really have to be up on it to see into it, but if there is a light on, you could very easily see in it from a far. What i will do is take the black side of some panda film i'm not using and staple it over the windows making sure that no can see in, or that light leaks out.

Do you think it's too much of a risk to proceed with this, or should i keep my much, much smaller grow under my desk? Anything else should i be aware of, or any ideas that can help make it safer?

ok
IR blocker
http://www.amazon.com/Infrared-Blocker-Thermal-Shield-Reflector/dp/B00G5H0M3C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1429825961&sr=8-2&keywords=ir blocker

that stuff will block Flair cams ..........just make sure u do not rip the mylar or pop the bubbles when u hang it (those 2 things is what makes a barrier that they can not see tho ) u would need to line the ceiling and walls

as for power doing a underground run to the thing would be smart along with running a line for water .........as for u never using it in 30 years well that was the past u have a reason to use it now

your issuse is going to be dumping the hot air out of the growing area ...........if u can i use a old grill place it next to the trailer and then run the ducting to the end point in the grill ........the heat that it gets will just look like the grill s cooling off from use

as for keeping it safe that is easy .........u can get a trail hunting camera with a cellphone anything that moves will have photo taken and the the cellphone will upload it so u can lok at pic

as for the door itself u can get a wireless driveway alarm

the door opens that goes off

Thanks!

I have several 55 gallon barrels. In my upper veggie gardens, i fill them with water, and with a pump i water my gardens. I have a couple extra, what i was think of doing the other night was put those in my work show, run a pipe from it just 10' to the trailer underground, up through the floor where there would be connected to a spigot. On the wall would be a switch where i can turn the water pump off and on.

I don't have an extra grill, but i do have a burning barrel that i was turning into a smoke that never got finished, so i used it to burn scrap lumber and whatnot in. I constantly use it.

What about venting the air through the floor into the ground? While i'm under there i could dig a hole large enough for a 5 gallon bucket, drill holes in the bottom and sides of the bucket, connect the ducting to the lid of the bucket, fill the hole with pea gravel, cap that off with soil? Could this work? No one would ever be able to see under there anyhow due to the thick vegetation and blackberry vines. It would be a little bit of hard work trying to dig a hole underneath a space that small, but it's not impossible.

I was looking at the wifi trail camera.. I have a regular trail camera not in use at the moment, but i get a good WiFi signal out at the trailer..

your idea about the bucket in the ground might work if u put your fire barrell on the top of the gravel (the warmth of the air will make the ground warm so u need something to hide that ) the only down side i can see with that is u make a place for bugs to live and a travel system into the trailer

ok from what i know about stuff for u to hide the heat from the air u are going to need a hole atleast 18 inches under the dirt .........this is what a buddy did
his house is partly buried so he dug a trench .........from his house out to the middle of the yard used 8 inch pvc .......laid the pipe out to the middle of the yard cut tho the cinder block wall in his house burried the line ........in the center of the yard is a bird bath the bird bath has been hollowed out in the base the pipe ends there (he made some holes in the concrete base to allow the air out ) he has roses jasmine ...all kinds of flowers

u can see it on the IR cameras that the bird bath is 20/30 degrees warmer then the air at night

Why would anyone be looking for a heat signature.......People dream up wild stuff

A 315 LED is like having a few light bulbs on in the trailer

It isn't like you have a 16 HPS light grow going on

cops when they are not on a call are flying around .............most of the time they will just play around and goofing turn on the flair and see what they can see while they are waiting for something

flair camera is only one part of the info they gather to get a warrent to use to come in
increased power use
increased heat signature
increased spending
increased foot traffic

and with the anti terror laws......for them to come in needs less and less reasons

youtube flair video alot of them are the cops goofing around found a glowing house and they post it

If someone is that paranoid with a a puny 315 LED they shouldn't think of growing.........That light puts out less heat then a single old school 60 watt incandescent bulb

Increased foot traffic and spending from what........LOL

hell i found out about a new system the cops and fbi are using now

traffic cameras and cop car dash cams ..........they are using a new program to ID the license plates to ID driving patterns

so basically if u are in a area u not know to be in it will give them a reason to search your car

that is what he was talking about starting with ............we both know it will get improved to get more light to the plant to max it out

LED alone not that much heat but u add 2 3 4 5 of them and it increases ..........and with out him using a AC to keep the temps down he is going to be running off natural outside air at that temp so inside the camper will be 15 to 20 degrees hotter then the air outside
