Outdoor Hydro Drip System Questions

At the moment I can only grow outdoors....So, I wanted to take the hydro outdoors.... I am planning on taking eight 8" pots...filling them up with perlite, light warrior, and rockwool croutons... i would dig holes in the garden for the pots to go into so they are level with the gardens plane...Im thinking about using a drip system or possible DWC (using large net pots) with a cooled external reservoir....I'm concerned about how I would be able to get the runoff at the bottom back up into the reservoir.I'm obviously new to hydro but it seems like a pump near the rervoir would be able to pump the used water back up into the tank...

Or yo could dig the Rez in that would also keep it cool I made a outdoor ebb and flow system but I've done dwc in ground and it works well but you gotta pull it every two week to change the nutes
drip to run off I think would be the go just waste the water off

Yea I quickly realized I would have to modify the setup so water would'nt run off into the ground... I was thinking of putting basically a bucket inside a bucket and the inside bucket being the 8" pot. I do not consider this bottom part the res because i was hoping I would be able to get a small pump down there at the bottom of the mini rez to pump the old water back up to the big external reservoir...I'm also thinking about building a green house before the spring solstice so that I could experiment with the hydro and soil methods in the same environment.... I'm just tinkering around ideas for the hydro setup... I don't really understand why hydro isnt used more outdoors... It's perfect for indoors but I think it would be less expensive then buying an entire light system...

How many cycles does an ebb and flow system go through in one day?... I'm not sure with ebb and flow because I'm new to hydro like I said... I wonder how big these reservoirs under would need to be...
