Outdoor Grow Questions

Nothing as of yet, apparently it arrived in Australia two days after it was posted, but that's as far as the tracking goes. It's been over a week since it arrived in the country and I still haven't got it yet, it's probably just AusPost being slow as usual. It's going to annoy the hell out of me if it doesn't come today, I don't want it sitting in a post office over the weekend.

Apparently Customs went on strike some time in the past week or so, so that may have something to do with it.

Thanks, me too! The postage in our country is absolute rubbish so honestly I'm not really expecting it by today anyway. If it doesn't show up in two weeks I don't know what I'll do, I can't really call because if it's already been seized by customs I'm pretty much admitting I ordered something illegal.

Edit: haha some guy collecting for charity just came to my door. Almost had a heart attack, I've been sitting on the edge of my seat all day waiting for someone to ring the bell.

I've got a similar situation. I have a really really small patch of densely vegetated "woods", and since it's already got so much weed growth (not that type) in there, I figure nobody will be able to spot it unless they walk up to it. I know that during the winter little kids sometimes play in it, although lately I've seen that stop. Anyway, I was out there today looking for suitable spots to plant my girls (I'm buying females so I don't have to do the whole kill-off-the-males thing), and I think I've found one. You can sort of see the street looking out from the spot but I don't think anyone else in my hood pays the least bit of attention, so hopefully they won't notice. My biggest fear is someone finding out about it, but the part I'm putting my plants in isn't to terribly visible from the road and as far as I know nobody walks through there, so it should be okay.

If you order from Attitude they ship it so that it's really hard for customs to find it. Most people who order from them get the seeds. I wouldn't worry bout it, those guys have been trying to think up ways to get their product past customs officers for a while now, they probably know what works and what doesn't.....ps the seeds don't smell, so the dogs that sniff the packages wouldn't pick it up. They'd only find them if they opened the package, which they do pretty rarely.

It's not the best idea to give out false information, yeah? Dogs can easily smell the seeds, plus they can be picked up by X-ray .
Really it all depends on luck and where you live. Pwee and I pretty much have the worst chance of getting our seeds just because of Australian customs; they're likely to find them no matter how well hidden they are.

Goddamnit I re-checked the site and Customs just went on strike AGAIN from the fifth to the eighth. That would explain why it's taking so long for them to reach me...

Wow, why is customs going on strike? Do they wish they had an awesome job like The American TSA, where they get to pat everyone down in humiliating fashion that makes people feel like common criminals simply for trying to travel?

They want a pay rise, apparently their salaries aren't 'keeping up with the cost of living'. And they get to do that anyway, golly I sure can't wait until they introduce those human x-ray machines...
