Outdoor Critical Jack (First Grow )

Hey guys! Newbie here. I figured seeing as how this is my first grow I might as well start a grow journal to show my process and maybe learn some different techniques along the way. My girls are about a month and a half old. They weren't started indoors at all. They are in the ground now. Growing medium is Promix BX/HP. Also I have given them one nute feeding. I used cheap ass water soluble all purpose MG. Pictures coming. :)

Just before I put them in the ground. I was scared for them because they were kinda small and where I live insects and animals are everywhere. I just sprayed them with neem oil and hoped for the best. :)IMG_20140610_123437196_HDR.jpg

Speaking of stretch... does anybody think they look a bit stretched? I didn't top or fim or do anything to them but I'm not very happy with the spacing of the nodes.

All of these pictures were taken at about 30 days old. So they have grown a bit since then. I will probably take more pictures tomorrow and update.

I wish I had been able to start them indoors, and then put them out. They would be so much bigger, but I still have 101 days of growing left and a lot can happen in that much time.

That first picture is of the one that is still going strong, and only has bites on one leaf. It is also much bigger than the others. Here are my problems. Nitrogen deficiency? Also they are still getting ate up even with a weekly spraying of neem and a ton of diatomaceous earth. Idk what else to do. Opinions would really help. Bump! I'm really needing to know if that is a nitrogen deficiency. the yellowing leaves are turning brown at the tips. I watered with phd water with a diluted amount of clean urine in it. I know that sounds awful, but I didn't want to give it the water soluble MG for fear of nute burn. Any and all replies are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Everything is doing well. A few bug bites here and there. After a storm my best plant was laying on the ground, but all the leaves were facing up towards the sun and looking good. Just lifted it up and staked it. It's still my best plant. Pictures coming soon. The smell is getting really skunky. :) Can't wait for them to start showing budding sites.

I also thought that this was mention-able to all you spider haters out there. I FUCKING LOVE spiders. I let them live freely on all of my outdoor plants. They can do no harm right? Exactly. :)

I always leave spiders alone also. As for the bug bites, with outdoor plants there's not a lot you can do about the bugs that fly in and out of your garden, spraying different products will help. The main thing is to look out for is the start of infestations; spider mites, thrips, etc. Once the plants get to a certain size they do seem to deal with pests a lot better. GL

Half way through the grow!!! :) Here they are at about 70 days from seed. All in all they are looking decent. My bottom leaves sure are taking a beating though. No sign of mites yet. Although, I may have found a few solitary thrips... At least I think they're thrips. They were quite sizable and pale green and blended right in with the bottom of the leaves. I just squished them. Also, there are a ton of leaf hoppers on my plants, though they don't seem to be munching on the leaves, yet. Wish me luck yall!IMG_20140714_141521582.jpg IMG_20140714_141048625.jpg IMG_20140714_141030729.jpg IMG_20140714_141137838.jpg IMG_20140714_141350708.jpg
