outdoor 5ft big bud brought into the light!!<<PICS>>

so iv had my 8 big bud ladies outside in the sun for 10weeks and they're quite big now.
brought them inside yesterday and started them on 12/12. this is my second grow and its nothing like my first. first grow was harvested about a month ago and they were snow white which had only been vegged for about 3 weeks indoors, got about an oz per plant.... but i want more!
im running 2 600w hps lights which is sufficient for these 8 plants.
basically my question is how much taller do u think they will get? coz i cant have them getting too close to the lights.
it gets hot in my grow room so i run an air-con which keeps it at a nice 22-25c, not using nutes at the moment.
as for yield...more than an oz per plant i hope?

They will most likely double in size in your grow room. If they begin to become too big, trim off some of the bottom nodes and clip the top leaves. This should stunt growth a bit. Might stunt flowering too so..." gulp", try it.

nah man worst comes to worst ill put the lights at the sides and they can grow till they reach the top,
i assume that they will indeed be fuking tall, should have flowered earlier but oh well lol,
more weed i suppose..
any yield guesses?

well i dont understand how u only got a oz per plant if ur using 2 600w lights. You should use nutes for sure. If you want more yeild you give the plant more food that it converts to energy and sugars to increase its bud size and potentcy. With 5 foot plants just starting to flower they will be HUGE by time they are done. If you start using nutes properly and keep optimal conditions with temp and pH there is no reason you shouldnt get 6-8 oz per plant.

u should yeild loads more than a oz per plant, i grew bigbud this is wot the colas were like..

i dont think 2 600watts is going to work for those plants there just to big..

yeah man two 600watt hps lights are more than enough for 8 plants,
plus the whole room is covered in reflective sheeting.
the top of the room is about 7 and a half ft im guessing,
hope they dont get that big lol but im sure they will, ill just have to move the lights to the corners of the room

2 600w hps will get u at least 3-4oz per plant flowered for 8 maybe 9wks, if they get to tall just l.s.t them like i did, bend them south and tie them back.

look at the pics i posted below that was bigbud and only flowered for 6wks, i had to chop early, i had 4oz per plant.

iv read up quite alot about this technique but never actually attempted it...
would the yield be decreased as a result of this?
i mean, i know that the bud sites would be better exposed to the light but also wont it stress the plant when i initially infact do LST them?
i suppose i'll have no other option tho coz i only have about a foot of headroom left and iv just started to flower....

id done gently without snappin stems just bending ul be fine!!!!!!!!!! thats why its called low stress, if ut top cola is reaching up to high just bend it south literaly facing the floor without snappin (b carefull) that plant will grow back down slightly then beggin to grow sideways then back up, its very easy to do and wont effect ur yeild at all!!! good luck

what you should do is a little bit of lst when it starts getting to big.you should also cut 1/3 of bottom branches off now or in a weeks or so,this is called lolly poping.it makes all the energy go to the top bud sights and creates better air flow under the plants.plus you can use the branches to makes clones for the next harvest.

iv just cut the lower branches off,
the air does seem to be circulating better and the plants have more space coz the dont branch oyt into eachother,
im now going to suspend the lights vertically as someone suggested and hopefullly i can just let them grow til the ceiling

or you could just flower them till they get too big and stick them outdoors since flowering starts in 2 weeks?

all i can say is i bet it smells REAL good in there.

i dont know monkz, not saying u cant..but those plants are 5ft tall and still in veg...with two 600watters thats a 6x3 area if there side by side..your going to have to LST for sure. dont think youll get more then a oz a plant,but good luck i hope u get more....meangreen
