That's the big question is how to allow the mini-split to work correctly without negating the ability for a partition in the middle of the shed. I am hopeful that the newer mini-split installation can allow for multiple room temp control (the fujitsu model the guy recommended has that capability I believe for up to 8 rooms).

Yeah bub, 1 compressor outside, and however many wall units u need inside (sounds like 1 for veg rm and 1 for flower rm)

With this scenario^^^^, are you going to run a dehu and Co2 setup in the veg/clone room also?

Can you just run a normal ventilated setup for the veg/clone room?
Or.....
Have ALL of the AC in the flower room. Then ventilate the veg/clone room from/to the flower room. I know someone who has it setup this way. Works great.

That would probably be the most cost effective set up.

Aero, so you're saying ventilate the cooler air out of the flower room into veg/clone room? Interesting I wonder what the temp holds at in veg/clone room...

I may run a dehum if necessary, but no Co2 for installed for a while.

With the ductless mini-split systems, which have an outside component to them---wouldn't they basically be sucking out super stinky air all around the shed? If so, what would be the most advisable way of exhausting smell with that system?

Neither of the two types of split systems exchange air from outside.
The only thing connecting the air-handler/s inside, to the compressor outside, are some freon lines(and a little bit of wire lol)

Put the veg room intake and exhaust fans on a thermostat :-). Keep that room around 83 F

You shouldnt need a dehumidifier if using the mini splits

So...making advancements to the installation, with a trusted electrician on deck to do the first stuff. My buddy recommended adding a 200 amp breaker to outside of house electric box in order to allow for enough power to the shed. The electrician thinks it overkill, but I think I will stick with this number.

After getting a couple of HVAC quotes its looking pretty pricey for the mini-split system, so I am thinking about going with a portable ac/heat unit in each of the rooms instead...I still am planning on having a partition lung room, drying room in the middle, and am also going to frame in an attic to allow for exhaust fans, etc...For attic is the foam insulation overkill? Thinking about 12000-15000 btu unit for each room. They are on amazon for about 450 each. Thanks
