If you get a tiny tape measure the plants will look larger in contrast..
Its an old indian trick
Maybe an ancient Chinese secrete.
Cant remember.

In nature plants don't live in plastic buckets but at my house they do or they get the f**k out.

BIG MAMA
Monday will be Big Mama's (estimated) 4th week into flowering. She has a nice strong smell to her now and she takes pretty pictures now!

MARY KATE
Monday will be 2 weeks into flowering for Mary Kate and Ashely. They are starting to get all trichy.

ASHLEY
Ashley, so far, seems to have a lot more sites where buds are starting to form than her sister.

Here is a shot side by side of Mary Kate and Ashely so you can really see the difference:
IMG_0239.jpg
The defoliation definitely stunted Mary Kate's growth height-wise. However her lower branches have more developed buds than Ashley's lower branches. Which is the working theory with this method. Allowing light to penetrate to the lower branches for better bud development. Only time will tell!

BIG MAMA'S BUSHY BABY
She's…bushy.

BAGSEED T
DrJohnStivers transplanted and placed his final tomato cage yesterday in preparation of flowering. She goes in on monday.

BAGSEED M
Words escape me.

FRANCESKA JAIMES
ScottieBennis has been reading up on turning this girl into a bonsai mom so I imagine by next post she'll look a lot different.

NATALIE PORTMAN
I finally made up my mind and gave her some shape. I'm going with 6 tops total. The two lowest shoots will be cut for clones later on around the time she moves to flower.

Thank you sir. And thank you for the pro tip, we'll invest in smaller everything so you all believe we're growing some monsters. But then I'd have to steal a toddler so that I could throw a few pictures of "our" hands in the pictures and really reinforce people's imagination of how big the girls are. It would be a whole lot of work just to make people on the internet think I'm awesome. With that being said…would you happen to know where I could find readily available children that I could capture?

My life is a series of weird turns lol. I do like smaller plants when they are old and have a thick, wood like meristem. Thank you for stopping by sir.

Those girls look awesome! How are you guys tieing them down? It looks like possibly twist-e-ties but some look to have a hooks? Great side by side of a couple different approaches, I love it! +rep :weed:

Thank you very much. We were using some hooks that we made out of a cut up clothes hanger, but they really weren't convenient to use and tended to pop out of the ground with the upward force of the branch. Now all we use are twist ties. You can get it from any angle, move the plant exactly where you want it and they hold very well.
