Ouch!!!!!

My timmer wasnt in the light socket all the way and my girls got 24 hours of darkness yesterday. I'm in week 6ish of flower. I havent seen a difference in them but they smell pretty funky. Anyone ever have this happen and is there anything I need to do to get them back on track?

The terpenoids and flavonoids build up during dark periods and evaporate slowly during day/in light. That's prolly why they smelled so dank afterwards. No need to worry about damage or stunted plants tho since it only occurred once ;)

Thanks guys! I was pissed and a little freaked out. I just posted some pics I just took a few minutes ago, I tried to get some of my nicer ladies to lean out so you could see what was what. Room's a little messy right now, I just had to go through and change all of the tubing in all 12 buckets.....I dont know how people keep their Aero systems unclogged. My sprayers are always getting clogged either with nuet residue or small broken pieces of roots. All in all the ladies look good now that I got some light back on them. Tuesday will be week 7 and not 1 amber tich...not sure if thats normal but I read that Afgahn takes a while. Also I have huge Cola's but there is some spacing between some of the buds, I'm wondering if they will fill in

Oooh Has it Happened.!?. :O Several times to me, a few times the lights on too long.. a few times off too long.. a few times power shut off mid-way. Have yet to see a hermi due to my light schedules. I have seen a hermi due to large temp swings though

im starting to wonder if your lights weren't out for more then 24 hrs :)) they seem kinda small for 6 weeks what kinda power you useing ??

i think it slows the entire procces down ripening and mass are affected in my experiance had one place where we was paying electric [wtf] and it kept running out i swear we was flowering these blue cheese [9 weekers] for fukin 3 months man and when it came thru there was nt alot there alothough this did happen ALOT but as soon as some one says to me "the timers have fukt up at 25 wotever street" i think FFS and automaticly add about a week or 2 on to finish time and its usualy bang on, iv had 2 grows swtitchd on the same day at 2 differnent places the one with the sound working timer came thru about 2 weeks befoere the one with the faulty timer i reckon that 1 time your pplants spent extra time in the dark will add on about 2 or 3 days but i may be wrong as so many people often are on this type of shit

The extended dark period before harvest increases terpenoid and flavonoid levels. This can lead to a much stronger experience depending on the terpenes involved.
