I just filled it with used once coots style mix. Make all my own castings so that helps. But yeah. Shits getting expensive. Snd seems like sourcing quality organic stuff is harder and harder. Can’t seem to find perlite locally at all. Promix is getting expensive. Let alone the amendments.
And thanks dude. The whole kit with irrigation and double trellis only set me back 200$ or so. But I’ve had it for a freaking year just setting up now… been busy.

Side note. I’ve only worked with traditional carrots from blumat in the past. And I have to say the soaker hose is legit. What an amazing product. You need almost triple the psi 4-6 but I just put my rez about 5 feet up and the pressure seems right on.

Lol I would've had that shit put up the first night I had it. Bas has quality organics, but they get a lil pricey. Considering what you're getting though, it's not too bad.

when I started this thread it was true water only. At thenew perpetual we do implement supplements and additives. No nutrients but the list of additions is as follows.
mammoth p every other week.
myco chum every week
Coconut water every week
Top dress with malted barley powder once a month or so. Plenty of castings. Then water. Ez pz.

It’s coming along. Although currently we have no power…. Looking like for another 24 h. Yikes.
although generator is running it only is enough to power dehu fans and basically auxiliary lighting for the duration of outing. When I first got in today was 90% humidity. Hopefully we don’t run out of gas and we can keep it in control.
