I have thought i would buy a bag of this soil from Costco called cycle soil, its all organic soil with: green waste compost, rice hulls, worm castings, perlite, fir bark, redwood shavings, and sand. i planted my GDP in it, and iv noticed the water run off is really dark, yellowish color. Iv used maricle grow before and always had awesome success with it and the color of the water when using maricle grow is clear when it comes out.
Example for the new soil i tested, water going in at 6.3 comes out 7.5 ph, filtered water, im sure i could throw the water in at 5ph and it would come out around 6.5 but that can shock the plants, is this bad? should i ditch this new soil? i flushed the plant plenty of times and still comes out this murky color and high PH. Thanks
