Organic Nutrients/DWC?

LMFAO!!! funny stuff bubblerap exactly what kind of nutes were you using? I have seen very good quality fore arm size flowers come from flora nova, which is organic. mmm and they tasted great also. You need a lot of air in any dwc setup 1watt per gallon of water that will help keep root rot at bay.
I had 2 Bubble stones, well one 12 inch and a bubble wall. Now I have 3 BubbleStones one 18 inch and 2 12 inch. Not much improvement...and def not funny. Anyway new sprouts have taken gonna start up new system today or tommorow. Thanks for the help guys...I guess I am gonna get some PBP for this grow.

What temp is best? how do you keep the res chilled? Thank you.
Temperatures of 62f or lower will retard root growth. 69 or higher will encourage microbe growth. The best way to keep a res chilled is to buy a chiller, which can be several hundred dollars. The cheap way is to freeze water bottles. Use the kind without a glued on label. Drop a couple marbles or fishing sinkers into the bottles and tie some string around them to keep them from floating around. It's preferable if the roots do not actually touch the ice.

Yea thanks man, I scrapped the entire project, i just lost too much time and effort. i am going to see if i can "clone" The majority of the plants and start them back in a new clean system w/o those organic nutes which were my downfall and then when i mixed in the hydrozyme became much worse. Any advice on the best way to clone the majority of the plant?
ok many good ways to clone, make sure you are using a cloning method which will work with your dwc project. io recommend cutting the clones, putting in clonex gel (or similar), then into rapid rooter blocks (or whatever, i "hear" that rockwool baby blocks work well for this as does jiffy peat, but in mine, i use only rapid rooter as they don't leach stuff into the reservoir), place into individual dwc buckets (or whatever you use) and run on 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutes for two weeks... hand watering or with drippers from the top, so that the roots have a chance to grow... once they grow into your dwc medium, let nature take it's course... don't check on the roots too much or they'll get air-pruned (which you don't want) and won't support good growth... an aeroponic cloner is another solution to your cloning issues, but they are costly, and you already have the dwc set up... please clean it thoroughly before your babies get in there, though or you'll be right back up sh-- creek... good luck man...

dude toss that hydrozyme to the curb!!!!!!!!!!!!! that stuff ruined my grow!!!! it feeds the slime it loves it....i had the exact same shit, and so far ive kept it at bay using sm-90 and 29%h2o2,
and ive tried alot!!! youll have to toss the organic stuff though the h202 will kill it, get some good ol fashioned gh flora and get er done

For organic grows I always find that they just work better in soil or soiless medium. Your always going to get some sludge in your reservoir. I do believe if you use specific hydroponic organic nutes you will get better results. I think it's possible to have a successful grow in dwc as long as you go in knowing that you will get sludge. If you were doing something like aeroponics that it would be a disaster because your sprayers would get clogged up all the time. Using something like sensizyme or hydrozyme might help though.
Also take into consideration that organic grows are usually done to get a quality product and DWC is used to get bigger harvests. You can't always combine both but you can always try.

I have fought through a lot of shit in my grows and experiemnted with a lot of different stuff.

So far the best tasting weed I've grown was grown with Botanicare. Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro is an organic based nutrient mix (it's not 100% organic) and contain living enzymes. I have fought off slime, funk, and powder mildew. I started using Aqua Shield in my reservoir with every change and have not had one single problem yet (knock on wood).

I know this is not the answer you want to hear but I suggest you take as many clones as you can and cut those plants down, then start over. Try Botanicare and you'll see what I'm talking about.

O.K. so heres and update for those who don't care....My plants have bounced back. The overall stress made the big one show its sex and it is a little girl YAY! It seems like everything is going to be ok and I can still flower. I used some HST and LST on different plants and they responded very nicely. Lemme know if you guys wanna see some pics the plants are looking very crazy right now. I have never seen anything like it. But all is well as far as I can tell. There are bright white roots growing now. I have given them nothing but water so far since i have been nursing them.

double toss a loser like you. You keep failing because of your own advice. It sucks like you do.
