organic growth stunt?

i'm growing a couple maui waui plants indoors (organically), and they are on their way to becoming some tall mothers! maui waui is a full-blown sativa.

does anyone know of an organic growth stunter? i found out that Bush Master is not organic. someone on another forum recommended Purple Maxx, but my local hydroponics store owner claims it's not for stunting growth.

what do you guys do for an unruly sativa? this is my first grow, so i'm very apprehensive about lst/topping/fimming...

You shouldn't be, topping and LST are both very easy to do and very effective too. There're tons of videos on youtube, and plenty of journals here which show very clearly how to get the job done.

Just watch enough videos until you feel comfortable trying it. Once you top/lst the first time you'll be like a pro in no time, I promise.

learn to crack the cambium without cutting the vascular sheath. it's called supercropping. you can work 'em back and forth- just below snapping pressure, til they stay at the desired angle...takes practice to get it without snapping it completely and cussing your brains out. it''s a lot easier when they're young and pliant. pinching and twisting also strengthens the vascular system, and structure, turning the plant 'hurricane proof'. you can make a 14' LONG plant, and all the branches and buds think they're the kona bud! the best way is to bend them at a 90 degree angle when they're just a foot tall.supercropping is great for table topping bushes. that's the 'scrog' way..scroggy bushes, and the long trees both outyield everything else.

well harry as far as how to limit plant growth lst(low stress training) is an excellent way to keep em short. simply select the branch u need shorter, select the height at wich u want the plant to be apprx. Grab it between ur thumb and forefinger just above the closest node, sqeeze gently, just enough to crush the inside then rotate ur fingers and squeeze the opposite sides. repeat, go slowly till the tissue is soft enough to bend over. depending on how vigourous the plant is u may need to bend it back down the next day or 2 till it stays. The crush and bend points will eventually swell and become knots this is the plant repairing and its acctually making it stronger increasing its ability to transport water and food.

As far growth inhibitors Bushmaster works very well in a couple of different ways.
1. It can stop the plants vertical growth once flowering. Some plants can double and triple their overal height after flowering has been initiated. I have seen bushmaster completly halt the stretch and increase branching sites when applied through out the week b4 light cycle change. It is also recomened tho that you use some sort of kelp extract.(makes a world of difference)
2. Because the flowering stretch has been eliminated the plants bud much faster cutting off about a week of flower time.

I have also herd that GH CHI works to help limit vertical growth as well as a number of other things, but i havent tried it so i dont know.
GL and i def do recomend the Lst.
