No I did not. It was fresh right out of that bats ass. I added 4 heaping cups per cubic foot. I gathered alot. I just added it to my soil and let it cook for 2 and a half months. They are mexican bats that migrate up here to these caves every summer
Oh well your composting should have taken care of ppasteurization, A++ on hippy ambition man! i would love to have some locally sourced guano, best shit we got near me is alpaca poo. (Northern east coast)

All I did was spread it thin on a tarp and let it dry out in the sun for a day because that shit was juicy. Omg the smell was horrendous

so i'v just read that guano is bird shit also.

we have pigeon shit feet deep where i live.

would that work ?
Yes I believe it would. Although I have not looked up pigeon guano specifically. The nutritional value also depends on the diet of the animal. The cave I spelunk are mexican bats. It's the high nitrogen guano. Go to the search bar on this sight and type in guano 3lb and there is a guy that did I wright up on many guano and manure. Including birds. It's very informative

Wait. Typing in guano 3lb doesn't lead you to it. Dang it. I stumbled across it yesterday but I double checked just now and that does not find it. I'm sure a Google search about pigeon guano as fertilizer would give you all the info you seek. There are many things right in our own back yards that we can take advantage of with just a little research. The shells I turn into flour I get from a fishing hole of mine. The rabbit poop I use in my compost tea I source from a nearby lake also. And the bat guano from a cave less then a hour away

I cannot attest to rabbit poop just yet. I have only made tea from it just once so far. No I don't have a worm bin but I plan on getting one started. As well as a compost bin. I do have about 150 European red wigglers I added that are currently in my soil. I found those in the sporting goods section at wall mart lol. They are for there as fish bait but I saw them and was like whaaaaaat!

No. It almost makes me upset that Walmart has literally everything to grow MJ with now days. Back when I first started all you could find locally was miracle grow gear. Now they are fully stocked with absolutely everything one would need to properly grow organic. It blows my mind. I have a hunch that it's all there because they are capitalizing on a possible legalization. Everything except the ingredients i found in the wild is what I used for my soil mix. Even the mycorrhizae I got from Walmart. Almost forgot that I did have to get the Perlite from a local hydro shop. Walmart does carry it but it's small bags and is fortified with synthetic nutes so that was out of the question

Okay guys and gals. Quick question. First off. I usually grow from regular seed but I have never vegged for as long as I am now. I always pack the space and veg one month then flip to 12/12. Then I pull males as the start to show. I now have at least one positive male identified and another suspected male but not for sure just yet on that one. I have a feeling that the ones that are not showing sex yet are going to be the females. Is there any risk if I pull males before my suspected females are showing that those females may chose to be males given the fact that there is no male presence and they are still going to be vegged for at least a month longer?

Yes.......there's every chance that any of your 'suspected' females could be males. Not ALL males show early, so until you definitely see pistels, no assumptions should be made about the sex. I've recently had a plant grown from seed, which I didn't have space for straight away, so took a cutting and grew that around another 3 month. By the time it went into 12-12 the plant was very mature at like 4.5 months old from seedling and after 3 days threw bollocks out everywhere, it hadn't shown any signs in all the time previous.
