Organic Flushing?

I'm running DWC using chemical nutes. I've heard if you go organic there's no need to flush. I've been thinking about using just Flora Blend Vegan Formula during the last two weeks instead of just straight water. I don't see the sense in starving your plants for 2 weeks. Does anybody do this? Think it would be an effective way of keeping your plants healthy to the end and have good tasting buds?

No, you don't need to flush with organics but it can be helpful. Flushing as the last watering before harvest can help decrease new growth at the end that won't have time to mature. This is useful with most Sativas, especially those with running tips. A similar technique is to give the plants plain water for the last two waterings.

I have 2 tubs due to start flushing Sunday one is The Church and the other is Bubba Kush. I think I'm going to run the organic nutes at a pretty moderate level probably about 500ppm and see how that goes.
