a licensed cormmercial producer in Canada recieved its organic certification from ECOCERT. Therefore, I was wondering if it is really worth it to spend the extra dollars for organic medicine?

Oh well, I guess I will have to try it myself! going to order a gram of organic weed and test it out this week. I would never pay 280 for ounce but this is "organic" weed lol

I think it depends on how they're growing the plants, and what's important to you.

The plant takes up nutrients in the same form regardless of the origin. Synthetics and organic nutrients (through mineralization) are exactly the same. IMO the plant has a better chance of reaching it's full genetic potential when grown organically, but that's not to say that a skilled grower can't reach that same potential using salts.

To me the biggest reason to support organic products is the enviornmental impact. Now, if this place is importing guanos, or using bottled "organic" nutrients and such then I don't feel that they are any better than a company using synthetics..... but if they are primarily using a plant and mineral based regiment then they are bringing a product to market that is more responsibly grown.

If I were you I'd ask a few questions of this place before spending your money. Find out if they are building their own soil. If so, ask what they are using as nutrients in that soil. Also find out if they recycle their soil or start fresh with each new batch. The answers to those questions would settle the descision for me.

Thank you for your opinions, I will call them today and ask a few organic questions. I just find it ridiculous to pay $280 for an oz of superior Medicine. Maybe as demand for organic medication increases, we can hope for a more affordable price.

in my experience working for a dispensary in southern California, organic labeled medicine cost less then "indoor".lol seems like the term organic has a bad rep, same with outdoor, not sure or how this came to be. All I know is I always try and push my herb over others because I can say how I grew it, and whats in it, education is key!

medicine shouldn't cost that much even for organics. I mean organic nutes are cheaper thern the shitty alleged "advanced nutes" at least around here it is. what abiout over their? not to mention they can just compost and recycle their soil and re amend them to lower how much their spending.
id show you pics of my shit but my phone landed in sand and the camera and screen blew the fuck up lmfao!

Go watch the PPS video with Urban Remo doing a smoke test on 10 different kinds of organic grown Cannabis. Stuff would barely burn, I don't know what they are using but it's not organic the second it gets treated with radiation, that's my opinion at least. It was burning their tongues and throats instantly.

Organic meds should cost less because they cost less to produce and take less work to maintain. You don't need to spend hours every watering mixing nutrients for 10000 plants, you can have a straight drip water system. Literally zero work to feed the plants.

Thank you, I will for check the video right now....many licensed producers are going the organic way because they believe they can charge patients a higher a price due to premium organic quality. Your opinion is appreciated.

I grow organic and I can tell you right now it's 1000000% times easier then growing synthetic over the course of the plants life.

All the work is done at the beginning it might take them a couple months of back breaking work at the start of planting but the hours of maintenance are reduced greatly over the growth cycle of the plant IMO. Like stow said if they aren't making their own reusable soil they are doing it wrong.

I don't like how they are irradiating shit to make molds undetectable, I don't know if this specific LP is, but a lot of them are I have come to find out and it's just plain and simply wrong. They are growing inferior product to what the BM has to offer and pumping it full of radiation to pass the tests.

280 for a zip.from.a dispensary is pretty cheap. In Cali they're still $300- $400 at a dispensary. Street prices are $200 a zip.. Organics are starting to get a better rep. People finally realize what they have been smoking and want cleaner meds.

the funnies shit in the dispensaries is extracts. Bho (illegal to.produce and sell) sells for $40-$80.a gram. Ice wax is $80--$110 a gram and pressed hash (the best of all extracts) is $30 a gram. It's just marketing hype created by the dispensaries.

Thank you for the video and my wife shall stay away from gamma irradiated LPs...she ordered her first order at MedPotnow and she is planning on sticking with compassion clubs until a reliable LP shows up. I have contacted 4 LPs that have recently received their license and will be up and running this Fall/December. One of them seems really legit : Thunderbird Biomedical because they are starting in a small grow room and slowly expanding into a bigger facility as they get used to accommodating more patients. Out of the 20 licensed producers only 2 are starting on a small scale grow-op...all the others are just looking at the $$$

Well she ordered an oz of non-organic mmj for $156.50 which in my opinion is quite reasonable and affordable for patients. Some organic licensed producers are aiming at $5-$8 a gram (In the zone Produce) I would like to hear updates from them soon.
