you know i used to wait about 10 days or so to lollypop but im finding that lollypopping about 4-5 days before the transfer to the flower room actually works better. no point wasting energy on those lower shoots in early flower. let them dedicate that energy to recovering from the training and getting those flower sites up and receiving light.

Brilliant. My thoughts exactly. As I have made known in my journal, I will be attempting my very first scrog. I was actually just gonna grow one big momma and let her branch into the screen alone, but I think I'll just stick with my two plant rig so I won't have to veg as long to fill the screen. And your point about being merciless with that weak lower stuff is well taken. I'm not gonna mess around this time. No weak lower growth will be allowed to survive into advanced flowering -- or even mid flowering for that matter. The screen should help me achieve this since it's the perfect divider.

So this rack is getting cut down in the morning. looks real good. could have done better but im very happy with this rack. another step in the right direction.

So my 2nd clone showed sex today. another girl! So both of my vortex plants turned out to be female. They don't look amazing but they did their jobs!
Here was my first to show sex. they even have some roots. not sure if i want to throw these girls in the cloner or just take some new cuts.

i would just take new cuts myself, takes too long n too much hassle to reveg imo. plus they just never are right lmao. they turn into bush monsters but always seem odd to me... lmo

ya i know what you mean 4tatude. the more i clone the more i realize i like taking my clones in veg as opposed to in flower and then monster cropping them. they just have a lot of weak branchs that end up being removed anyways. I'm going for that 4 top look on all my new girls.
