I'm not a big proponent of defoliation, but it helps with combating PM.........aggressive lollipoping etc, all to improve circulation. yields may suffer, better than a crop loss though.

good luck

This link explains some of what happened:
http://msue.anr.msu.edu/news/plant_phytotoxicity_in_the_greenhouse

That Ic Mag thread has tons of info on this topic. Still reading.

"Phi has been found to inhibit Pi uptake, probably because both Phi and Pi taken up by plants using Pi transports. Considering Phi is absorbed faster than Pi, it is possible Phi effects the Pi transporters ability to uptake Pi."
"An example of one cation which plants can not self-regulated uptake is ammonicial nitrogen (often sold as ammonium). Because plants can not limit up take of ammonicial nitrogen and because ammonicial nitrogen is taken into roots efficiently ammonicial nitrogen can cause phytotoxic conditions in the roots if the plant can't move enough sugars into the roots to keep up with conversion of ammonicial N for plant usage. It's possible that Phi acts in a similar fashion to ammonicial nitrogen bypassing the plants ability to limit P uptake, and because Phi isn't converted within the plant and has low usage rate by the plant it can become too concentrated and then cause phytotoxicity."

Used the Plant Dr. Prior to flower @ 3/4-1 tbs (15) a gall. Stronger then I've ever used it & just got a lil PM popping @ the end of wk 3.
De-fo'd the whole room last night & plan on coating it w/ 2 coats of Apocolyose tom. To oil coat the leaves & hopefully prevent spreading. Now it's all about t controlling it for the next 5 wks. Now. Just wonderful. :(

Add more circulation fans....... or some ceiling fans=massive air movement for cheap...... what's the cfm of your exhaust ?sealed room?

Thmx bro but I have GC. Just don't use it. PM just popped on a few leaves right at the end of veg so I used PlantDr.
Don't wanna use GC in flower if I don't have to. Gong w/ Apocolypse now known as Mite n Mildew wash out.

I have more oscillating fans going then I can fit.
See, wish I had exhaust. My stand up AC's are taking up every whole o could make for exhaust. One of them is not a daul port so it takes air in & out & exchanges it. To bad it's crummy air, although there's no active signs PM out there.
I am running a 8" fan 745 (com) on a big scrubber. I messed up & just turned it on the other day. I usually run it from day 1 of flower to keep the air clean. I think that's one major way I went wrong this time.
Adding another scrubber under the worst plant tonight w/ hopes it sucks in airborne spores. Maybe I'll add 2 more scrubbers.
Don't like running the Ozone generator w/ the plants in the room even during lights off. I feel it messes up anything organic in the medium & causes unhappy plants.
Got any info on that cuz I am tempted to run it on a timer for a few nights?
Either way, I was hoping the Plant Dr. Would've held the PM off like what I thought I saw from it in earlier uses. Not gonna apply it again cuz I think it's suspect for the bud outcome of quality. Although I just heard from someone that it doesn't cause any visual neg effects on the plants themselves in flower. Which I believe cuz they respond like they enjoy it when sprayed in veg. Almost like a beneficial Foliar.

i gotta say i love my quest dehuey, they are worth every penny. esp on dark cycle to keep tents in the upper 70s with low humidity.
that would help but is obv not the be all end all.

your rooms are always super clean from the pics ive seen so you got that going for ya

fortunately were in the hgh desert so pm isnt a problem at all unless i get a dirty cut. it just doesnt thrive inside of the environment here like it would in a more lush climate. and im kind of a hermit as well i dont visit other rooms and nobody visits mine, so unless i get a dirty cut it really doesnt exist around here naturally.
