Oregon OMMP Grower Reimbursement

ORS 475.304 (7) states:

(7) A registry identification cardholder or the designated primary caregiver of the cardholder may reimburse the person responsible for a marijuana grow site for the costs of supplies and utilities associated with the production of marijuana for the registry identification cardholder. No other costs associated with the production of marijuana for the registry identification cardholder, including the cost of labor, may be reimbursed.

What is the definition of supplies and utilities in this context?

Are there any legal precedents defining this?

What costs can I include in the reimbursement amount?

How do I decide the right amount for reimbursement, and how should I keep my records?

I want to be making enough money to stay in business as a grower, but I want to be completely within the confines of the law.

I've never heard of a way to do this without only breaking even (not counting time and labor), engaging in fraud, and/or money laundering.

This is as a marijuana grow site.
I'm not able to be reimbursed for all the many things that a dispensary is.

you just want to set prices on your product labeled as DONATIONS.. or.. you could sign an agreement.. that you will recieve this much bud.. if you buy this plan..

do it like a cell phone plan.. an oz a month of nugs.. 200 bucks a month.. and go from there.. lol.

Water, electric, nutrients?
I wonder if the equipment can be reimbursed for as well ?

I always wondered this too.

Maybe have your patients pick up nutrients or whatever else you need. Have it given to you with proof of their purchase?

I'd stick to tax code; if it counts as a legitimate business deduction in any other small business, then you've the right to ask for reimbursement.
