Hey everyone! I just wanted to start an Oregon MMJ plant troubleshooting thread, in order to help point newbies and experienced growers in the right direction with links to info, and helpful advice from your own Oregon growers.

I hope we can all post pics of plant problems, and get help if anyone needs it. We can help these folks by linking them to the proper thread, or just simple advice here.

Hope all are well.

These are some SGS. I germed them over a month ago and they are only this big. 1 has white spots growing on the edge leafs and the other has just weird looking leaves compared to any of the others I've grown.strange leaves.jpgwhite spots.jpg

Not for sure on this, but I think this plant is probably a little over watered, and probably a PH issue causing the discoloration.....I would not think it is a deficiency caused by a lack of a nutrient, more because it may be locking something out....This is such a young plant, I would just test your ph in your soil or runoff and see if you need to fix the PH....being such a young plant, I would think it strange to have a deficiency already. Hope that helps!

Also......FOR EVERYONE OUT THERE, subscribe to this linked thread as well as the Oregon one....I find this link helpful.....https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/38772-guide-diagnosing-plant-problems.html

Thanks for the input. Two of those seedlings popped from the soil with the first set of true leaves already grown. Then there was virtually no progress for 2 weeks. The other seedling that looks the best sprouted like normal, and has grown at what I consider a normal rate for my skills and equipment. I am going to replant those seedlings today in some FFOF, but before I do I am going to flush the crap out of them. Guy I spoke with at the hydro store said that coco should be flushed prior to use(especially the cheap stuff that I have).

It's probably nute lock out. Most coco isn't prewashed to remove salt. When the fiber is harvested the workers wash it in the ocean and set it out to dry in the sun, This leaves salt residual deposits that must be washed away with fresh clean water. I switched to Harvest moon for this very reason. They prewashed all coco before its added to there mixes. Good luck donkey

This is what exactly what the guy at the hydro shop said ;)

It's a little late for your grow donk but I thought I would add it. Seeds and seedlings are pretty tender little things and don't require much in the form of nutes till they are established. A different base medium is never a bad start. Products like light warrior(fox farms) are great for starting seeds because they don't have heavy amounts of nutes mixed in,if these brands of soil aren't available in your area go to the store and get "seed starter" soil bags. They are pretty much the same but a little lower quality and usually much cheeper. Once your starter plant is established plug the plant into your fav Dirt or coco mix and things should go smooth. It's important to lessen any stress the plant can get. Stress can diminish yields and off set flower times.

I transplanted all my clones into Light Warrior last night actually. The coco they were in was able to be removed 95% without damaging any roots, with the exception of the only clone I have that rooted so far. I ripped all the roots of my very first rooted clone lol, I imagine they will grow back. I did the same to the seedlings as well but instead of Light Warrior I put them into Ocean Forest. Anyways, they are all in better soil now, and I have almost two full bags of Ocean Forest left.
