Super excited to flower Archive Seeds Oregon Lemons! This is the OG Pheno, which takes the full 70 days. She started showing pistils last night so I officially marked the day as today. She is one of three girls in my flower cabinet (GSC and Sunset Sherbet being the other 2)

HPS 600 Watt dialed back to 75% which equals 430 watts
2 Gallon Fox Farm Soil
Full Heavy 16 Line-up (minus Roots)
+Terpinator
+Sensizyme

Group Shot (she is the middle girl) --to left is GSC to right is Sunset Sherbet

Just some quick photos here in week 1

Few leaves are showing some phosporus deficiencies so I did a quick Heavy 16 Foliar + Fire spray so you'll notice the waxy looking leaves. Other than that she's been amazing, I count about 18 tops, she really responded well to being topped, super cropped and tied down. Stretch has been noticeable but not unexpected. By what I've read she should be stretching for another 3-4 days.

Few more photos from this morning. As you can see she naturally filled out her canopy after some topping and super cropping. So far she's a sticking out in the grow room and if this continues she's be a staple for years to come.

Yep just one, cause I have the Girls Scout Cookies and Sherbet growing as well
Ok good cuz all 3 under that 600 would be too much lol. I'm interested to see how the Sherbert turns out, I almost bought some Mandarin Sherbert seeds from Ethos....Went with Grandpas Breathe and Citral Flo instead, was NOT disappointed lol

Haha I actually only have all three under the 600, just dialed it back to 75% strength so it's about 430 watts. Then I loose lumens via the glass cooltube. So I figure it's like running a 350 watt HPS. So far it's been cooler than my previous setup with two cheap 300 watt LEDs so I'm happy.

You got DVGs grandpas breathe!?! Lucky man!! I have been following some people on IG and every single photo of that strain looks like fire! You got a Grow Journal of it going? Would love to check it out!

Can't wait to see it a few more weeks in. :weed:

Me too! Sometimes I don't like to really post flower photos till week 4/5 since that's when you can actually see what your gonna get. But another part of me wants to chronical the grow properly to help others identify phenos before they are too far into flower

are they all flowering? Personally I would flower one plant under that 600...and where is your air coming from to cool the bulb? This is just me but....i will never dim a bulb again lol. I will figure out how to get the wattage to max. More important than nutes, or soil, or whatever else is light. I take the air from the cool outside night through my hoods. And CO2 helps them take on the heat a little more. Take lumens out of your dictionary too....turns out they don't matter to plants lol. You can get yourself a light meter for pretty cheap to check your PAR reading, that will give you a more accurate idea of what kind of light your plants are getting.

Yea, I've got 7 Grandpa's Breathe in veg right now, i'll start a journal on them in a few weeks here. I flowered 2 of them last grow just to see what they would look like and when I saw how they were finishing, I popped the rest of the seeds lol. Going to keep the males this time for some breeding soon. I think i have a pic of the finished Grandpas Breathe in my Hotilux thread in my sig

Haha yeah Lumens old jargon. I have the cooltube in custom limestone enclosure above my cabinet. I cut a hole in the top of my cabinet and placed this limestone enclosure, stuffed the cooltube inside of it and use a 125cfm AC fan to cool the tube. Temps are averaging 76-79 durning the hottest part of the day. Just using the house AC set at 78 degrees- which is always on in my case cause the dogs stay at home while I'm at work. And I don't want them to be hot. Good idea on the PAR meter gonna check that out. This whole HPS upgrade cost me less than $60 bucks so I'm gonna squeeze in one more run before I upgrade to Something high end like a Gavita or TimberLED or Spydr

Nice, thats a cheap upgrade! The grow i'm doing now, I'm testing the Super HPS by Hortilux, but i'm doing it with the right ballast to see what kind of a difference it makes since the super HPS is geared to run at 120khz while standard single ended bulbs typically run on 60khz ballasts, max. Double ended bulbs run at the same hertz as the super HPS so i'm hoping I can get similar results, but we'll see in the next 5 weeks!

I think the PAR meter I have now is just a cheapo one that i actually use to test the moisture of my soil for watering purposes, which by the way is AWESOME for judging when I need to water next, but i've seen digital PAR meters run into the $100's.

Temps sound like they're sitting at a perfect rate!l

Thaya such a sweet setup, does the doubleend bulbs run hotter or cooler? Than single ended

DE's run hotter from what i've read and seen. The ballasts I have can run DE's if I ever decide to switch, but you have to keep Gavita's 3 feet from your canopy vs the super HPS which I am keeping about 14-18 inches from my canopy. Not sure if the light degradation makes the DE's less viable at 3 feet though. I see fantastic results from them though.
