Breeding plants for just one main factor like all purple trichomes is what ruins the effects in my opinion.

Other examples of selective breeding that are like this. Low odor, short flowering, frostiness.

I love many hybrids of course but the above is purely for bag appeal. What got lost while they hunted for the purple phenos only?

Even if potency or odor is at a loss I'd still like to grow it out just on the beauty of the flowers alone. Its like Dr Grinspoon, or a chia pet......aint worth shit to grow but can still be fun to do :bigjoint:

per facebook

"The Oregon Breeders Group Sirius Black strain is only available in certified dispensaries in the state of Oregon."

gotta find someone willing to help out, i guess.
Thanks, I was browsing their FB but didnt see that. I did see them reply back to comments asking when genetics are available and they said they were shooting for mid to end of the year and this was in 2016.

This isn't true though, what MMG was talking about anyway. Yes some purple flowers are lacking in flavor/smell or potency but lately I've gotten several different purple flowers from local rec shop here in oregon and it's on point. Better smell than the green flowers at the store so you just have to pick them right.
