Orchid Food

I just looked at some Orchid Food I had in a cupboard and began to wonder......

The NPK is 19-31-17. Has anyone thought of trying this out? Do you think it would help with oil production in the last phase of flowering with it's high phosphate? The Nitrogen is way up there though which, I'm assuming, complicates things in this regard.

I was thinking, maybe I should sacrifice one of my girls to science, but I just wanted to throw the line out and see if anyone bites before I do something stupid.

I'm growing in Ocean Forrest soil with Fox Farm Nutrients. 400W HPS. LA Confidential.
