Orange pistols all over bottom buds at 5 weeks of flowering?

Hey every1 ive got a Northen Lights under a 400w and its been flowering for about 5 and a half weeks now.

The pistols on the buds nearer the bottom of the plant are basically ALL orange and brown.

More pistols turning brown higher up on the plant aswell.

Big buds near the top and still all a milky white, ive never had this happen to any other Northen Lights and the plant does not look near ready (Normally they take about 8-10 weeks)

Can any1 try to explain this and what i should do?

P.S - Ive been spraying them with soapy water alot as to try to keep the spidermite problem under wraps.

Thanks for any advice!

no need for double posting bro..

one post is good..

good luck.

Secondly, if I may add this right quick like.. you sound like your new to growing. Your judging by the color of the pistils.. which is 100% incorrect. I'm not going to tell you how to check if your plant is ready for harvesting.. because its something you should already know. You should have already learned this.. and nobody else around here is going to walk ya through all of it either. Not trying to be a dickhead.. so don't take it the wrong way. I'm just telling you how it is. Good luck to ya.

peace..

is it dying on the bottom?

i'm not growing NL but I noticed that over 60% of the hairs on my plant turned orange.. then I gave it a shot of P and all of a sudden there is new white hair growth.. some with 8 pistals coming out of one pocket. not sure why it did that

purple? nope
look here man nevermind the pistils. pistils is just the plants pussy. i needs pistils to get impregnated by a alpha male .
its the trichomes you should worry about. clear = underage , Milky = young female , amber = too old to fuck
what you want is 80 % milky and 20 % amber. Now THATS a woman id hit...with a bong

na its not dying at all. And how would i judge them if not by the pistols? Im just wondering because ive grown this strain before and havent seen oranging of pistols until the 7-8th week of flowering its just very unusual that some of the buds near the bottom have almost 100% orange pistols at 5 and a half weeks of flowering?

Simple harvest the bottom and let top continue to grow now that can't be all that bad can it. Thats what I would do.

I've been having the same problem.. My pistols started turning orange on lower buds at 7 weeks.. But the tricornes were still cloudy and clear, no amber.. Now I'm going on9 weeks and the orange hairs are working they're way up to the very top buds, not quite there yet, still a lot of white hairs , tricomes still clear and cloudy. Is this normal? Or did I do something wrong?

do you have a picture? spidermites love the fans and hate bud..make sure you're only getting the fans front and back then wait 7-10 days and spray again. that's it..that should have done the trick..you can also add a few drops of peppermint oil to the soapy water.

your best bet is 50/50 on clear/milky..once you start getting ambers the thc is degrading and of course couchlock can ensue..the 50/50 will give you best high possible. this is especially important because mostly everything is a hybrid now..i've been reading some advanced and it suggests that 50/50 clear/milky is the optimal for today's weed..it was explained in detail just can't remember why..i think i was looking up UVB's

Yes it's normal for the pistils (not pistOls) to turn orange/brown near the end.

Check to make sure you have popped some nanners. That is one of the reasons hairs will turn colors and recede. The moment they have performed their duty of catching pollen they recede and die and a seed emerges.

If there are no nanners dropping pollen, then dont worry about it. Hair color has nothing to do with bud readiness.
