Theose peat pellets are fine but why waste your money when rock wool works fine and you can also check the roots to see if their griwin
I had excellent results from mg organic mix. I germinated about 4 bagseeds that sprouted fine and then I just planted 6 more in the mg organic mix without germing them and they all sprouted as well. I ended up with 4 females and I had to kill the rest before I could sex them al out. They out grew my lil cabinet. As far as sprouting tho every seed I put into the mix sprouted might have just been luck for me tho.

Those jiffy pots are what I am thinking of trying next time but I hate to change something thats working already lol. They seem to fit the perimeters needed to start. It has ph pellets of 5.3 with distilled water it should work perfect.

After your seeds have sprouted the tap root, plant them in the Ferry-Morse or Jiffy peat pellet tray and humidity dome. Just follow the directions on the packaging. Once you see the roots poking out of the lower bottom of the pellet, transplant the entire pellet into your soil and container of choice.

Farmers and florists have been using them for a long time. I use them to germ my garden plants. I grow hydro so I use the Rapid Rooter sponge plugs. I don't want soil in my hydro reservoir.

I really think this will work for you. Keep the pellets in a warm, dark place right after you plant your seeds. You shouldn't need to add water again until you transplant them in your pots. Mist the plants after they sprout a couple of tiimes a day. No nutrients needed for at least the 1st two weeks after they've sprouted.

Good luck.

Hey justatoker - the jiffy pellets are good man. I've never used rockwool or anything though either. I never understood why you'd want to have to soak overnight to adjust the high ph and all that. It's always better to plant things in your garden that grow in your soil's acidity or alkalinity rather than fight it! That's why I chose the jiffy pellets. Not only that but the grower I got my clones from has been growing for 30 years(plus a couple) and he swears by them. They're just so easy to work with! Plus you can find good deals on them. In the end it's up to you, but imo the Jiffy Pellets are a good buy. Good luck with your grow! PEACE

all round the best is probably some kind of coco coir, or rockwool..and you dont have to soak overnight .. you really just have to dunk them in ph neutral water. seeds or clone??soil or hydro?? oasis
