14 days today...
they are looking good
@dro-man80
they are : on the right a dinafem cheese and an the left a barneys blue-cheese.
next round would like to grow some sativas...
Side cut 2.jpg
i am currently feeding every day...and they drink more than half a gallon each day...but even though they seem to like it ...all the bottom leaves under the screen are slowly falling, maybe it is normal?
Side cut.jpg
They are stretching quite a lot. But hopefully it starts to slow down.
branch.jpg
some close ups pf the leaves and bud spots.

Peace and Love.

yes man.... i am in hempy buckets, straight coco with grodan chunks in the res. if i leave them 1 day without water they get reeeaaally thirsty. now they are loving their everyday food @ 750ppm. 10ml of micro + 15ml of grow + 5ml bloom. adding a little bit of cal-mag also and some fulvic and humic acids.

when they're praying to the flower God then u know ur doing something ryt lol...i love how its looking..they r gonna perform well I'm sure of it.....i have to hook up my water lines and feed lines today and ill post some updates on my first grow with them also..i will say i have not had yellowing issues in years until i hit the Cobs lol..but like i said i can live with "our lights r too strong" lol
just gotta master when to dim and when to raise, and experience is the best teacher of all..even better then written studies IMO..
I'm loving the uniformity of the canopy, keep it up..they r stretching good, that was something i was concerned about a tad because of the different grows online using Cobs...I am building my Supplemental Bars this week and gonna throw them on one side of my room and leave the other side with just the cobs...so we can see what added UVA -IR-Deep Red monos can bring to the table..plus it'll be fun just building some shit haha.I see Growmau5 is doing pretty much the same thing with his Canopy10 {DIY} light..If you haven't seen it go look at it,pretty sick...so ya brother keep an eye on the calcium and mag...i know i have really been having too..plus i had to cut back on the phosphorous also,so i cut Mammoth P out for a week or two...@day 14 they look beautiful bro,i am So Happy for u,I can feel the Positive energy all the way on this side of the grid.lol..keep updating brother,Im all the way in for the ride..hey i was wanting to tell u if u haven't already heard of them u should check out "The Dude Grows Show"...Its a podcast, and I've been a member since the beginning, and I donate every month ,but you DONT have too at all..It's a online mini micro community and its just really a lot of love, and peace there:blsmoke:..i think u might enjoy it..Figured I'd throw it in the air in case u never heard of em..Well keep it rocking man week 3 here now for ya..Are u hitting the girls with any PK Boosters or no?
Okay bro gotta get my ass up and moving ,take dogs out and start my day,I'll post my updates later on my Journal..Till next time stay green, and Peace and Love brother:peace::bigjoint::eyesmoke:

Hi there @dro-man80 ,
thank you for your positive vibe and your good advice man, your experience is invaluable:hump:.
for now i am just riding the cobs @300w-320w so i have smth like 33w/sqf-35w/sqf. from what i have read while building the light more.... is not necessarily better, although i plan to test in the future:fire:
I'm doing everything to keep the canopy as even as possible...now it's ok but i'll try to get every bud site as much light as possible once the stretch is finished for good. it shouldn't take to long now.
today is the first day i will feed flower nutes... till now i have been feeding veg nutes to fulfill the needs of the stretch. so no pk boosters yet...but i will start to feed them low doses around week 3-4 till week 6-7...
this is the plan.
i am really curios about how those extra UVA-IR-Deep Red will bring to the table.
i'm keeping a close eye on them... regarding cal-mag... for now i just supplement my tap water with a little cal-mag and everything looks good...new shoots are a little bit light green but this may be normal during stretch??
it happened my last time but i am not really sure... i am still trying ti dial in my feeding as it suits best the girls.
I will definitely check "the dude grow show"...we all need some more peace and love;).
Cheers to all.

Update...Beginning of week three of flower.

Flushed 2 days ago...
decided on purpose to let them dry a little...
Cut 1.jpg
Progress looks good in my opinion...i don't know if my untrained eye can't see any problems...but apart from some small issues that have not gone away totally they look developing Nice...
Cut 2.jpg
Have finished lollipoping and now i'm asking myself and you if it is a good thing to
defoliate a little...mostly i am thinking about the leaves that are on top of bud sites...is it better to cut them off? or should i wait a couple of weeks? or should i just leave them do their on thing from now on?
You are welcome to give an opinion...
Cut 4.jpg

this is flower development ...
Flower 1.jpg
larger pic...
Flower 2.jpg
Going to give a full bloom watering now...
Should i start some pk booster supplement now???
What do you think??? Or is it early???
Thanks to everyone.;)
Cheers. :bigjoint:

Hey @dro-man80 , hope your issues are over man... family needs full attention always, our grows can wait.:)
I've been taking care of the ladies and worked a lot meanwhile.
girls look good... But i have a BIG DOUBT... and i need some advice..
Should i tuck off some of the leaves that cover bud sites??? or it is too early???
should i remove the leaves later in flower or not at all?
some of the branches are not getting a lot of light and i don't know if it is better to leave them on or take them away and let these smaller branches have more light...
its two weeks nw that i am asking myself...:razz::mrgreen:
20160709_233450.jpg
I have watered every day and also applied some diatomaceous earth to control what i think was the start of a gnat infestation....
Motherfucker 1.jpg Motherfucker 2.jpg
Not visible damage... i believe they were trying to multiply and cause damage but i have controlled them somehow with some preventive measures i took during veg. now i will continue to use diatomaceous earth and apply some neem oil if i see problem persist.
Canopy up.jpg

This is my light setup of 2 CXB3590 and 4 CXA3070 for a total of 300-310w and 34w/sqf.
I don't have a lot of experience ... i don't have at all actually:mrgreen: but these Cobs rock and i will never have done this without the guys that helped a lot here on RIU so again Thank You.:hump:bongsmilie
Light setup.jpg
this is some buds...for being 25days in flower they look frosty and beautiful to me..:bigjoint:
i fed a little bit harder the last feedings..something like 800-850 ppm full bloom of which aprox. 100-130ppm monster bloom with a N-P-K ratio of 0-50-30.
Bud 2..jpg Bud 1.jpg
the leaves under the screen are slowly falling is this normal?
they become weak and then yellow...burn and fall...
Old leaves..jpg

It slowed down since turning to full bloom nutes so i thought that a little bit of P deficiency was also causing this...
Could it be?
i will let them dry a little from time to time...so the top of the coco dries out a little and the D.Earth works its magic.

If anyone has an advice is welcome.
Cheers to all.:peace:bongsmilie:peace:

okay just checked it all out,so down the list,,,
1- everything looks gr8,GREAT JOB
2-ya the gnats love coco,i fucking hat them with a passion..the neem does help,Axamax is gr8 for them but is a hit or miss depending on the plant and medium..worth a try tho,I've had success with it..also cut up some yellow sticky traps and cut them into smaller 1 inch by 2 inch pieces and lay them on the coco..it def helps and lets u monitor the situation
3-it is perfectly normal for fan leaves lower then the net to yellow, shrivvle, and fall off.if u can help it,pick the dead one out and get them outta there to prevent bugs..they love dead leaves...
4- they look gr8,keep the same routine up...stretch is about done now,its full blown bloom mode now bby...start a lighter dose of pk booster if u want in week 3 and my heaviest is in week 5-6..different folks different strains on tht matter, and also i always pluck fan leaves a few at a time if they are blocking nice bud sites..i'll post pics of my girls before i pluck a few to help u see if its noticable..may not be able to tell, but it does help buds get more light to them with the dumb fan leaves blocking some light,so A-OK there,,hope this helps a lil

Thanks @dro-man80 , its a pleasure to have your knowledge here on this thread. you have helped immensely.
For now...diatomaceous earth is working and i will use some yellow sticky traps...maybe i use some neem oil if i see more of the gnat bastards but for now it looks like they are slowly disappearing.
i have twice done some defoliating... judging by the reaction it was a good decision...more air flow...MORE LIGHT to the lower bud sites.

Here we are....near the end of week 5 of flower...
Things look good:mrgreen:
Canopy 1.jpg
i think i have to add some more air in the tent...otherwise i may have some bud rot later in flower and i don't want that.
Canopy 2.jpg
they are definitely more frosty than my previous grow...
the barneys blue cheese on the right has better flower development but the dinafem cheese on the right is more frosty.
Flower 1.jpg Flower 4.jpgFlower 3.jpg
Looking forward to tasting them.
Flower 2.jpg

these are the trunks on the overall branching of the girls...
Trunks.jpg
i was thinking to put o small fan for each plant blowing air from beneath the canopy through the scrog.
Thanks for your support, advice and participation.

I know u have to be impressed with the COBS,,i know i am watching those pics...Whats going on with ur air exchange, that ur worried about bud rot??the girls def dont look unhappy,,,but a small fan moving left to ryt on low at the bottom would def make ur girls happier for sure..i have one on my floor on low, and thts all its for ,just to circulate the air non-aggressively..they r getting frosty to brother,,,im happy for u tht its going well...u were doubting some things in the beginning, and i hope u c u made the ryt choices lol,imo...peace and love ,,,stay green:peace::bigjoint:

Update Folks...

I have seen some minor burn on the girls... this at first did not bother me but then in the next days i noticed that the buds were not developing at the same rate... can anyone confirm that minor burn can slow down bud formation???
I think that at this stage is strongly necessary an everyday feeding....even though i flushed them like 12 days ago now i am having runoff of 1400ppm-1500ppm when i am feeding 850ppm-950ppm...last days lowered the dose of nutes but most probably will give them another good flush in the next days. i think a flush might help them in the last couple of weeks remaining... probably they still have time to put on some weight and to become a little bit frostier but maybe they need some fresshh ph-d water without nutes to clean them roots before the big run...
If anyone has any advice or recommendation is really welcomed here... i need your experience guys:mrgreen:
Thanks and Peace:peace: and Love.

Hey @dro-man80 :D happy to read you again man.
Thanks for all the good words, i am thinking about a flush now man cause runoff is coming a little high for my liking and also tips of the leaves are showing a little nute burn...
i have a big fan moving air through the canopy , just above...but had the same last round and one bud had a little of bud rot...it was the bigger one, luckily got it on time and did not loose a lot but i think this round some more air through the canopy from the above might...just like you saying...make them happier....
otherwise i am happy that i had your advise here and also @rkymtnman , @superbak3d ,@coreywebster
you guys have helped a lot.
Thanks:clap:

hey a nice secret i learned is after flushing a lil with such a hig ppm, that if u feed them a nice "TEA" beneficial microbe mix, that it brings it all back nicely even..basically the microbes eat the nutrients and they feed the roots what the plant desires on call..perfect symbiotic relationship...or even a nice compost tea will work...feed that for a week and ur golden...like tea,feed,tea,feed...thts what i do and always worked great...hopefully tht helps u at ease a lil bout the high run-off..I honestly couldnt tell at all looking at the pics, they look gr8,,but pics are decieving sometimes so i get it...any thing u need me to explain betteer just holler,,,:peace:

Don't Flush!!!

Back off on nutes and start running molasses or raw honey every watering.

1 tsp of molasses or raw honey per gallon of water. When you add it, be sure to allow the sugar to dissolve a bit in the water before feeding.

If you feel your soil is "too hot" or overloaded on PK, instead of flushing, just counter it with a sugarcarb feed.

The sugar carb feed will send your microbes into overdrive and they'll eat up every last bit of PK in the soil and send it to the flowers.

You're starting week 6? That's the perfect time to start sugar slamming your soil and work those microbes to death.

Don't flush anything out. They need tons of PK at this point in flowering.

Remember. P = bud size and density. It's also the hardest nutrient for microbes to find in soil, which is why it's essential to provide high doses of P mid to late flower (week 5-7)

K = Resin and terpenoid production. This is your finisher nutrient. By week 8 and your plants go into heavy survival mode, providing them with a good amount of K will help bring out amazing flavor and smells and coat your buds in resin

Hey beppe75, glad things are looking good. I love that under canopy shot, so fresh and so clean! Your doing well.
Any problem can slow bud growth down slightly, but then different strains can just slow up sometimes and then really pack it on suddenly as part of their natural cycle.
That's some good info from @superbak3d . Regarding the molasses. Unsulphured is recommended. Kelp can also help in many ways, it can help your plant take on more nutrients. It can help break down excess salts and de stress a plant. It contains a shit load of vitamins which will benefit both your plant and your microbes in your medium. A small dose maybe once a week will do wonders. Use the liquid kelp if you can get it, its instantly available to your plants. Its pretty cheap.

Good luck beppe, looking forward to seeing how they finish.
Take it easy!

Quick update...
towards end of week 6 of flower...
Followed the advice of @superbak3d:clap: ...i did not flush...
just backed the nutes off...from 900ppm-1000ppm (or 1.8EC-2.0EC) to 550-650ppm (or 1.1EC-1.3EC) and added just raw honey (the only thing i had available @ home.) for three consecutive feedings....every feeding was with a lot of runoff... cooled the feeding solution a little cause temps have been relatively high lately and guess what...???
Runoff came every time lower and lower ...until it reached (today) almost what was going in.....
i will try to buy some liquid kelp @coreywebster just like you advised and i have upped the fulvic and humic acids also....i did not fed any P7K booster the last feedings but i plan to resume feeding it next time @dro-man80 also i am informing myself about COMPOST TEAs ... There is a slight reaction ...positive one... in terms of growth...more new fresh white hairs... and although no visible bud growth...plants are drinking more since i lowered the nutes...this helps them remain better hydrated....
all in all i am positive about seeing some growth in the next week... i hope they continue to fatten up:weed:....
Next time will post some pics ....
Until then...Love to you all...
