Opinions on my Outdoor this year. Australian grow.

It will take it 5/7 days to for new top's,to get back into growing strong mode,let it put its effort into repairing the topping. This may be all the time the other side needs to catch up a bit,i would also stake the plants,only take's one day of windy weather and it could result in the plant been broke,Or cage it that would prob be the better option.

They also look like they could do with a water,pitty that you did not use smart pots,seem's that you have plenty of room for them more spacing would be better too,during flowering that space is gonna be lush

Since taking these photos I have topped all the plants again, mainly the taller, less bushyer ones. Staking sound like a good idea, was thinking about doing that before. I will go buy some support stakes today.

I really was not wanting to spend much on this grow hence why I didn't get smart pots. Now I see I probably should of.

You read my mind, I've been thinking about giving then more space between each other for a while. I remember hearing that 1m between each plant is recommended? Should I do that?

Your assumptions are correct, this is an outdoor grow as the title of the thread would suggest.

Fair enough, that makes sense. I thought they'd need maybe one or two more ferts until early - mid Jan when they begin to flower.

I considered submerging the containers underground but the earth is really hard to dig and I can only get a foot deep until it becomes hard as concrete. This is why I didn't plant straight into the ground. Lucky I'm in Tasmania, we don't get that hot as the mainland. Our temps rarely get above 27, more around 23-25.
I will take your advice and wrap some reflective material around the containers Bit of duck tape will do the job.

The plant's will tell you when they need a feed,

Yes move them before they get bigger and harder to move,all looks good ya cleaned ya mess up,every one makes a mess while using stuff but the good growers take that shit to a dump so good on you hope all goes well they look very well dude nice one.

I did time wreck two summers ago all was ripped at week 5 of flower gutted so tell no one

I feel your pain. My avatar was my first indoors I did and it was stolen 3 weeks off finishing. Humboldt blue dream x 3 and 1 northern lights cross under a 600w

They will just lighten in coulor,but to be honest just feed a low dose,

I would have give them some if they would have asked,but you have to roll with it,

No worries over there some time next year for holiday can't wait gotta say dude i love the country ,i would move there tomorow,

i would defiantly top those tall skinny ones.all personal preference but i would cut the top 1/3 of the skinny talls, but some people like to grow fishing poles so whatever you fancy. they will fall over full of bud and it will be a mission to stake them up in those pots. they look healthy though. would also stick some natives in between, that site would stick out when the helicopters fly over. cant believe someone had 8000 outdoor plants get caught this year, what were they thinking putting that many together!!

Dude, its great. This is the third country I've lived in and nothing compares to it. Its paradise. Come down to tas and ill show you around

Hey dude, just finished putting this reflective stuff around my containers.


Definitely noticed that the container temp dropped after putting it around. Just after i finished watering too so hopefully it doesn't dry out as much, saving me walking my ass up there to water ( I only have a 10 liter watering-can so I make at least 5-7 trips up there to water )

Is staking some of the plants a good idea while in veg? been having quite a bit of wind lately. I've heard it can help growth by assisting the plant up so it doesn't have to do it it's self? Any truth to this or just crap?

Wind can be bad for plants ...it dries them out very fast

depending on their age you also need wind to strengthen the stems

for carrying weight of the buds

any more than a 45 degree 'lean' or 'swing'

wrap a rope around the entire plant not tight

just so the stems swing as one like with sugar can
