Please stay away from the computer fans and PVC. The fans do not have the velocity to to push and pull any amount of air for a box your size. Stay with what Tim Fox said, you won't be sorry.

Thanks Norther for the tip, being I took Tims advice and idea. I too just purchased the can fan. Now my whole exhaust setup is pretty much finished, led panel is almost decided, all I have left is a good Intake set up.

Thanks for all the help guys, Most of all Tim for all the advice. The pics really puts into perspective how much more powerful your set up looks compared to my pvc and computer fan idea.

Very happy I decided to make this thread

So are you going with a commercially available panel or are you going DIY? I can only suggest that when deciding on your intake setup that your intake air come from the bottom

Hello guys this Is my first post here on the forum. I've been a browser for awhile and been reading a lot of threads to get familiar with the growing the world.

I have read through many threads on this forum and found a couple in particular that I will be basing alot of my ideas off of.

But here I have a question on ventilation fans.

My main idea was to buy some top quality computer fans but was told from a computer guy today that computer fans are not built to be running 24/7 and that it's not a wise choice to buy them, instead to buy 120 volt fans, do to easier wiring and better durability. Ok cool I took his opinion and did some research and couldn't find hard info on his claim, and to make it worse I stumbled on this fancy intake set up, that I wouldn't mind buying if computer fans are legit..
If you can throw me some opinions, I'd appreciate it.
