openminded pothead opinion on radio rappers

This is just an opinion think what you want your your own people. For starters I never hear people bumpin' the underground it's all wiz kalifa this and drake and nikki that. And here is what gets me why are only certain people allowed on the radio I hear way better shtuff coming from the U.G. all day.Radio rappers all sound the same to me. Simple minded easy to memorize crap "just my opinion". And it seem to me something bigger is going on. Like our goverment is using these Certain people to make their little profit. Then they kick them to the curb and if they mention anything about an illumination plot they seem to overdose on pills or die like Elvis,Anna Nicole Smith and Micheal Jackson. They're only supporting the underground once a week on some stations because some of us are smart enough to see through their bull junk.

1. clear channel owns most radio stations
2. independent rappers can make more money without radio play touring selling merch directly and interacting with their fans. not paying mtv to please play my video. and not oweing a bunch of money for production costs before they see a dime
3. drake is a fake ass actor who was on TONS of episodes of a stupid show he is not from the streets and makes songs for bitches and guys who act like bitches

good to see im not alone. the whole ymcmb is played even wayne imo. dontget me started on nikkis no talent ass. i hate the fact some artist are hot just because. like beyonce for example. first of all shes an average singer and shes not that hot. there like 10 girls in my neighborhood that look just like her and theyre all hoodrats. u cant put her on a level aretha or mariah even. shes so basic and so are most of the "top" rappers. i dont know what happened. i stick to my underground. i cant keep givin wack artists my money

My point exactly. People don't listen to the people that made rap/hip-hop what it is today. I stay playing all the shit that's not on the radio, even of some of the artists I don't like now, just because it was all before they were pressured to drop shit that sells better than what made them.

Eh, Ive never really been into it.

And most people I know who constantly have on lil wayne and such have one personality type. And its 'party-er'. Never liked those people, just not on the same level I guess.. I don't hate them.. I just, dont like spending my time with people like that all the time. I like conversations to have substance, not 'dude I smoked 6 blunts with my homie last night and we got so baked we got in trouble and in jail we were all like what da fuucckkkkkk'

Definitely. There's times when non-substance conversations can happen, but usually only during those 6 blunts are being smoked, after the fact it's just a good reminder of the good time. If a conversation doesn't have any type of "flair" i'm out. Rather go smoke a bowl. haha.
