I got these pure indicas and they are flowering. All the sativas and sativa hybrids are still vegging.

I had always grown mostly Sativa strains. I never had plants flower until August. With all the new strains I've got the last few years, June and July is the norm. Not a great fit with my weather patterns. {my 10 day forecast has had 9 or 10 days of possible rain for the last week}

Decided to try growing most of the plants directly in the ground this year, using super soil to partially fill the holes and also top dressing with compost/sheep manure. So far I'm loving the results! No fucking with nutes or adjusting pH, so far....just letting nature do its thing. Can't wait to see the progress come October. A couple of the girls in pots are already beginning to flower.julypot1.jpg julypot2.jpg

You use a lamp in thr barn or what? Maybe days are really long that far north its not even an issue? My plants are already flowering at 33 degrees N.
out in the sun from 7am-7pm then in the dark barn 7pm-7am if its rains they stay inside under hps

Ok, I will try that. The plants are already bigger than I was hoping. They are 5' tall already and we got several more weeks of stretch coming. Its hot here and we have good soil that drains well. Plants grow fast.
you will be glad you did that come harvest time.

Im only going to take a few colas off these and my buddy is taking the rest. I already got enough weed and these are just for fun. I got the good stuff inside under cobs.
