Okay, so last night I fell asleep early until my alarm went off for me to turn off my lights. So, I stumble downstairs, mostly asleep, and I turned off most of my lights, but when I left the closet, I forgot to turn off the overhead lights! My girls, a Kandy Kush and 3 Chocolate Rains, are in week 5 of flowering.
How badly did I screw up? Also, what should I do now?? Leave the lights on until the normal turn off time or turn them off now?
:-(:-(

You should be ok, I have done alot worse with no hermies. Keep an eye on them though. A suggestion would be to buy a light timer, you can get cheap ones just make sure they can handle whatever power you have going. I bought a fancy one for 40 bucks, it is digital and has multiple settings that I don't even understand. You can get a simple one that works on pins for like 15 bucks.

I do have timers and if I'm going to be using them, I don't use the overhead lights since they do not have a plug. They're screwed into a reg light socket in the ceiling which I adapted for four bulbs. Since it only has an on/off switch I can't hook it up to a timer. This has never happened before and I will make sure I don't do it again! Shortly after my first harvest we should get our tax return, then I can finish up my separate veg area and get a 250 Watt HPS light. Then the overhead will get a green light in case I need to get in there during dark periods. BUT, for now I have to work with what I have! Thanks for the help! I will +rep all who responded!

I think I get it...Are you using the overhead lights in your closet for your grow? And since thats hardwired to the wall switch there is no place to put a timer.

You might consider this for $20.00

It replaces your wall switch. And then you can get a good nights sleep!!!;-)
Good luck!!!
