so while doin some trimmin at my boys crib of some unnecessary fan leaves that were a little damaged i accidently snipped off a bud site, granted it had flowered a bit so i just tossed it to the side to dry, but what i was wondering is how much does something like that affect the rest of the plants flowering? is in yield or finishing time?

i dont really think much at all since alot of people trim the lower budding sites on their plants anyway to encourage more thicker fuller top growth

Its always better to undercut than over cut trimming !!
Fan leafs are also better left on, Unless its at the very bottom of the plants steam its ok to trim of fan leafs they just waist energy away down there ,People like to call fan leafs the plants solar panels that gives your plants energy so try and just tuck them away rather than snip them and slowing growth and effecting your over all yield

As for cutting of 1 of your bud sites it should not be to much to worry about it will just be like topping sort of and all the energy will just focus more on another spot
just be a little more careful in the future .
