Online Stealth Grow Box, cool cab

I was wanting some opinions from any one who has used/ purchased a grow cabinet online. There are multiple sites that make some that range in price from 1500.00 to 3000.00 for the larger ones. Comes with just about everything.Im looking to get one for some stealth growing.

I was wondering how many harvest you can get in a year from one of these. And how is the smell, noise? The cabinet Im interested in is 4ft wide by 7 ft tall roughly. I do outdoor now but Im moving soon and will no longer be able to do so. I dont want to build a cabinet, just want to buy one then build around it to hide the cabinet.

any advice or suggestions will be much appreciated.

:) I know it's not what you want to hear but I built one before realizing they sell them pre-made and professional-like. I would honestly have rather bought one but was oblivious to their existence. lol. It was fairly cheap and pretty easy to build if that is an option for you. Plus with the help of RIU you can easily figure out how to wire the fans up yourself too. BUT my hardship was light leaks. Caulk will mostly fix those though.

Anyway again as cheap and as easy as it was...I would buy something premade next time, like even a $100 cabinet from Lowe's would have fit my needs if not one like your looking at. Good Luck!!

Thanks, Ive seen some nice ones built here, and Im a DIY kind of guy. I dont want something that will last a year and I have to rebuil it. Im wondering if these prebuilt ones are of the same quality as something I can build, and are they worth the money?

I guess I'm looking for pro's and con's.:joint:

I do like how they come with everything you need. All you need is seed. Ive been reading that some of these setups can produce a LB. every month or two.

OK, so after I got this thing, I used it for a while, and realized its a waste of money. Do not buy one of these. I got suckered into getting the LED version as well and Im not happy. I figured I would try the LEDs , so far Im not satisfied. Ill let you know the progress on that, But I have complete re-modeled this box. It rises well over the stated 10 degree ambient temperature more like 17-20 degrees. Even with leds, I dont understand. Good luck with 14 plants in this small DWC under two 90 watt UFO led's. The doors never shut right, they sent keys for it that didnt even work the lock on the door. So i spent over 2000 with shipping and they cant even afford to send out keys... i bought it at sunlightsheds dot com . So as I am saying , Save your money. Im still testing these LEDs but they seem to have a weaker result than even a 250 watt HPS. any opinions on this??

Check my profile out, i have a 78"36"24 metal custom cabinet i made with 430W Agro light. Complete hydro system, I traded some stuff but got and made mine under $200 but that was over time and alot of work. You can build honestly a reaaal nice one for well under a grand. It saves alot of doe but if you want prebuilt it is easier. HEADIES

Yeah these pre built boxes are a waste of money. Not satisfied with the 90 watt ufo led's either. They work but nothing like a 400 hps. So I am telling everyone I know about these Waste of Money products. My yield is not even half of what it should be. Stick with HPS or the Sun. Fuck LED's....and this box too. I think ill turn it into a Vegg box and go back to my Scrogging. Nice Aswald...

Running same set up now- also with LEDs- not getting the high temps you are- doesnt sound right if you have both fans going. LEDs dont heat up that much. Looking at a 357 magnum LED retrofit for flowering if guy doing it now has success. These 90w ufos seem to be ok for veg but flowering is my worry. PLan on having 14 sites before sexing then see where it goes. The in cab cloner is a nice feature and set up to runing was only 20 mins. I dropped 2 Kplus nutes, seed and extra timers and power strips. Plan on using a 7 day timer in flower with 18/12 cycle.

I'm using two old stand up freezers. I got both of them for next to nothing, They naturally make a little noise. You can hide them in plain sight.

I used a regular bathroom fan, hooked up to a 24 volt contactor and a t stat to control the heat build up in the box. cut an exhaust at the top and a supply in the bottom.

They're already insolated so the plants even stay nice and warm in my garage when the heat is off.

one for veg, one flowering. everything is contained inside the freezers....Even the CO2.. They just look like freezers

I added a 240 w blackstar into the middle- works great with all three in there- added a powerstrip up top with velcro to hold timers etc. Check your intake fans and exhaust. The power cords on my intakes were defective. Add frozen water bottles to your rez twice a day to keep soln temp down. Adding the cartride filter slowed air flow out and so my temps are about 83- also use two pans of water on either siode of the tub to keep humidity up to around 45%.
