man i can't wait. last night finished up upgrading my grow box.
it has 2-150w hps lights,fans,carbon filter. temp is between 80-85 with homemade co2it also has a seeding/cloning room with heating pad and 4-24" fluorescent lights(natural sunshine
i'm still new at growing anything but want to learn.i've already learn alot from this site but want more.

i guess i should join this 1 plant will be done mid jan and the other done beginning of feb. ill stick a seed in a cup its about time to lol althogh i do have clones that have a good root structure can i use those or seed? really dont matter to me just wondering. also how will you be able to tell if we have our meters and such of that nature? i will create a new grow room just for this class...nothing fancy just a few cfl's for now but will be using hps for flowering. also will be using bagseed thx bro PC

I'm going to do 5 plants----I will be growing a strain of my own called----"DIABLO VERDI"---it's a Lemon Thai x Mexican Oaxcian. Should be a lot of fun I will be online in an hour or so with pics to get rocking--------heheheheheheh

You need to do seed if you want to follow along but if you just want to watch and ask questions that's great as well.

I have 9 seed germinating. So hopefully about half will be ladys. I put them in a little cup of water like you said. I usually put them in napkins, so hopefully this way will be quicker. I am posting pics of my set up. It is not much. I plan on buying a 150 hps at least by the time we start flowering. If you would look at what I got and let me know what I need as far as more light for veg. I am figuring I am needing more cfl's, but if you think I will be better off by going ahead and getting the 150 just let me know.

Don't worry---You don't need a bunch of stuff----Any CFL will do---they don't need that much light for a while-----Most important---We are not going to use the paper towel method and for good reason---I will explain later...

Very easy and fast----Small glass container----I used Aquafina water but any clean h2o source will do-----room temp------put the seeds in and put the container in a dark place-----we are now going into the details for supplies for tomorrow.

This germ method works very fast---In under a week you will have sprout. The reason I don't use the paper-towel method is that when the seed cracks and the main root starts to grow it sends tiny microscopic root hairs through the towels and when you go to remove the seed from the towel it tears the root hairs and can slow growth/cause stress/ and in general affect plant health. A Lot of growers use the towel method with success and I use to as well but take a look under a microscope and you'll never germ in them again----plus this method is faster.

these are the last seeds of 4-way i got. i bought 10 and had only one sprout but only to die a week later. so if i'm lucky i can get these to grow and pray at least one is female. i don't know a lot about growing anything but i did get 3 plants to live and are still alive. i'm trying to clone now but have not had any luck so far.

OK---for tomorrow we are going to need our germing soil mix---If anyone has any question post now---I will be online a little Earlie tomorrow to explain how to PH check your soil -----The items you will need are:----Plastic cups----I recommend 10 ounce but 16/18 will do-----("I will be using clear cups to show root growth and you can too if you have them). You will need a humidome or plastic wrap can be used on each cup in the place of the domes. You could also use a 2 liter plastic bottle for each cup---As long as you can keep the humidity very high thats all that matters. We will not need any nutes since we will not be feeding anything but plain R/O------BOTTLED------CLEAN TAP WATER under 50ppm's---. for the first 2 weeks----You will also need something to cup holes in the bottom of the cups for drainage as well.

good reasons why not to use a paper towel i have some seeds in a cup 5 to be exact. ive always used a paper towel b4 this class and it was 100% success you just have to be real easy when pulling the root out of the towel. but i folllowed the way u want it done. but anyways its done whats next?

it's a 24 hour wait now----tomorrow I will show you how to "plant to get more females"---I know it sounds impossible but we are going to put the odds in the favor of more females with this method and I will explain why as we go along.
