One male in the bunch, What to do?

:joint:Hey guys, I sure hope I didn't screw up my 10 little beauties. I am growing White Widdow, Silver Haze, Jamaican and some Kush. They are all under a 4 bulb t5 strip in the "veg" state. I left for Christmas 4 days ago and came back yesterday to discover a male in the bunch. It can't be even 2 months old yet an is about 16" high. It had it's pods open and I am afraid it infected the others, ranging from 2 weeks thru 2 months old!!
Is there any thing that I can do to stop or slow down any seed production when I take the rest to flower? Also, I have 12 plants in flower and with those is two (2) plants that went to seed. (I screwed up last time). Should I not have those 2 with the rest in my flower room? Can they hurt the others? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!:weed:

If your still vegging and just showing pre flowers your probably fine. Just take a spray bottle and spray the fuck out of everything in the grow room (except the bulbs, they will blow!!) The mist from spray bottle will negate any loose pollen and you may be fine. Make sure to clean your fan very very well as pollen can get on the blades and fuck up many grows. The ones already pollenated are probably too far to get more seeds lol

so the females its by are not flowering yet?(from the still in veg part im gonna assume thats what your saying) if they are not dont worry, just kill it and spray the females with water to kill any pollen, or just wait for 4 days and it will take care of itself basically.

Yah I dont think the pollen will "die" off, if anything spread more. I would spray like crazy to make sure your good to go. I wouldnt trust it to go away on its own

u may get some seeds.. but b4 u put the females that were wit the male into flower soak everything down nice and good almost shower them.. will wash most the pollen off and limit your damage.. u may still get a few seeds but this will help reduce the damage.. advice down the road.. keep a closer eye remove males and find a good female .. keep her to clone and dont worry about seeds no more.. good luck bro check out any of my threads and u will see what clones can do..

I believe that you guys hit it on the head.. I just got finished spraying the whole bunch. There were a couple of females showing the "two little white hairs" (pistils) that we all love to see, but am hoping for minimal damage.
I thank all of you guys for "lookin out" for your fellow :joint:brothers!
I screwed up last time by buying feminine WW and Silver Haze from Cannibus Seed Co. and ended up with almost 70% males!! They aren't usually that prevelant when just buying regular. So beware!! Also, out of the 56 seeds I got, only 8 germinated!! I have never had any probs with seeds germinating!! So, again beware!!:weed:
What do you think about allowing the seeded WW and SH that are in flower to be with the rest of the bunch? Those are with about 8 more great looking females and are about 6 weeks along. All females are flowering, of course. Should I get those seeded females away from the others?

leave the seeded fems w/the rest, no point in seperating em at this point. man, thats some shit that that seedbank did that to you, did you write to em and complain? you should put a review on them up in the seedbank section to warn others.

:leaf:They only provided an e-mail address that I tried 3 times to get them to address my problem and they never answered! I gave them all the info; order no., name sent to, etc., to no avail.
I just need to get better at cloning and ____ those guys.
Oh well, time to relaxbongsmilieThanks again.

Believe it or not, I am having no luck when it comes to cloning. :sad:I am using Rapid Rooters and a plastic dome. I have been taking the cutting and re-cutting under water at a 45 degree and am cutting the tips of the leaves left on top and am scraping the tiny fibers for 1/2" at the cut. This all in a cloning video I found. I am then taking the cutting and dipping it into Dutch Masters "Replicator" and putting into rapid rooter.
:wall:My question is once in "the dome" 'do I put any water in the bottom tray, do I mist the dome every time it dries out or just twice a day, and last do I mist the actual cuttings when misting the dome??
Any help and or hints would be greatly appreciated. I am doing something wrong and am loosing some good strains.
:bigjoint:Its that time!! Will post some good pics of my veg and flower rooms soon:bigjoint:
