One chance first grow

Hi everyone,

Just showing my first grow. I germed a bagseed about 10 days ago. This is the result thus far. It's on a 20/4 light schedule at the moment until I can get a timer. I'm praying it's a female  but if not oh well learning experience. The bud was a hybrid from what I could tell, indica dominant. It's sitting in some potting soil and I have 10-10-10 nutes waiting for it. Those cfls are 26 watt 6500k bulbs. The picture makes them seem farther away than they really are. I will be keeping updates throughout. Lets see what happens.

From the looks of it, you might want to get those bulbs closer to your plant if possible. The closer they are, they less your plant will stretch meaning you will get tighter buds when you flower.

Yeah like Zo0t said 1 bulb is enough till it gets bigger, no point in wasting electricity. Bring the bulb about 5cm away from the seedling and adjust the height and add more light as the plant gets bigger. Easy :)

Awesome, thanks guys. The lowest bulb right now is one inch from the plant and they get progressively higher. I'll keep it under one for now and adjust accordingly as I go. Ideally I'm aiming for nice close nodes, I don't have alot of room in the box.

yea man gradually add bulbs as your plant gets bigger..On my current grow if I remember correctly I started with 1 bulb, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5, then 9, and now I am maxed out on my one plant with 13 bulbs. I didn't start nutes till around a month in then I started with the Jack's Classic 20-20-20

Yeah I have Schultz 10-15-10 with micronutrients. I'm planning to start in about a week. I have her under 2 bulbs right now both approx 1 inch away

She's on a roll! I transplanted her into a new container. I mixed a tiny bit of dried blood in with some premium potting soil. She's loving it. Next step i need a timer. She's only about 2 inches tall, which is awesome considering I have very little space. Still holding on nutes. She's sitting under 24 hours bongsmilie

Hey guys, I took some more pics! She's coming along great! Roughly 2 inches tall now and seems healthy. I threw some light nutes her way yesterday, letting the soil dry a little bit before watering again. Second node is now coming in :D

I also definitely think this is a sativa, not indica.

I also ran a piece of clothes hanger to the plant stem to begin slightly training to stay low.

Can't wait! Please let me know what you guys think! I really am hoping this goes well.

Well after loosing for power for 3 days, and having temps drop below 30 degrees. I finally checked on my baby, expecting to see grim results. I was super excited to see that she's pulling through! Here are the most recent pics. She's returned to a 12/12 schedule and tomorrow she'll get a niceeee watering. I also started some training, I really need her to be a shorty. Hope for some feedback! :D:leaf::lol:
