Once I get a prescription, am I allowed to "swap" with other MMJ patients?

I have only just started the prescription process so I do not know all the ins and outs of this yet. I will have to word this kind of like a math question:

Nanna and I both have our own MMJ prescriptions. But if I have X brand or item of pot, and Nanna down the street has Y brand or item of pot, can we trade each other legally? Or do I have to make an underground tunnel to Nanna's so I can keep that sweet old woman out of prison?

I digress....hahahahahah. I am curious about this. Thoughts?

More so I'm thinking....I make a lot of butter and cookies, because I like to. Maybe someone else makes hash or butane hash, or something super cool I never even knew existed? But that person also luuuuuuurves them some gina weed cookies. Could we trade under the licence of the law? I have no desire to go to prison in these final years/ months/ days.

Oh, I forgot to mention that person 2, the hash-man, can't bake for shit....hahahah

So, post digression - do you know of places/ states that are not legalized recreationally, but where medical marijuana is legal where you could swap medication items. Like cookies for hash?

I just want to swap what I make with what someone else makes. I don't have much interest in trying a new process that could blow my face up. I'm luckily enough not to die when using the oven...kinda a little awkward over here....hahaha

I heard there are some places where medical MJ use is legal, but making/having concentrates (hash, bho, etc) is not allowed. So there's that.

But if you are just talking about strains, or homemade stuff like cookies, brownies, or butter, I think it should be ok.

I just thought of this crazy scenario, where the prescriptions are really accurate, like the doctor writes down "an ounce of bubblegum kush, 0.5grams per dose, 5x a day". And the popo busts you for having a few grams of purple haze or some other unprescribed strain.

I am the second person I know that has a weed prescription. And I know A LOT of olds....they qualify with ery thing!

They need more information. They're still thinking all "reefer madness". I guess I can't really blame just the olds for the fact that Canada has a conservative Nazi leader. But 6,000,000 people voted him in last election. And last time I went to vote, all I saw were olds. Coincidence? I think not....hahaha.

I don't know why I'm being all "allowed". I clearly have been giving, moving, making weed items before this point, without a script. But - I don't want anyone else to get in trouble.

Okay in Canada, the only approved medical usage, or at least what you can buy legally, is the dried weed, not tinctures or edibles, etc...

You are not legally allowed to share your prescription with anyone.

I believe that, even to carry marijuana legally, it has to be in the container that it came from the lp in, at least that is my understanding.

Having said that, if you took your mj out of your container and put it in your friend's container, and they put theirs in yours, no one would know, would they? This is what I am thinking, anyways, I have been wondering about this because I may still have some illegal stash when my legal medical mj gets here, but I figure if I am going out of my house with it, I'll just stash it in whatever containers the new stuff gets here in.

I also doubt that it's illegal to make edibles with your legal mj. You can't buy it in that format, legally, within Canada, however, and you aren't allowed to share it, legally.

If you gave some edibles you made to a friend who had their own prescription I don't see how anyone could know whose mj was in the edibles.

I was just thinking, I would like to help some elderly people in town get a prescription. But they won't want to smoke dried buds. I, however, also have a prescription - and I enjoy smoking dried buds. I could always make butter for them with mine, and trade for theirs?

I just don't want Nanna to get in trouble...
